VERY GOOD!

CODE VEIN is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good, I would recommend it; THAT SAID I did have a few minor issues with it, being a pretty big fan of the souls-like subgenre myself. Spoilers ahead.
PROS:
-Great gameplay, combat feels fluid and weighty
-Amazing leveling system, rather than putting exp into individual skills, you wear, wield and attune yourself to various bloodcodes, blood veils and weapons that alter your stat scaling
-Great character customization
-Levels are varied and full of challenge
-Characters are unique and have different abilities that you can "borrow" from them
-Cool aesthetics as far as enemies and weapons/armor goes

CONS:
-Story is confusing at times, feels like they needed to make up an excuse for the souls-like gameplay (characters revive from ash when killed, Lost die but wake up again after some time)
-Levels sometimes feel like elaborate corridor mazes with rarely any unique setpieces
-Music is boring, repetitive and uninspired
-Game is too easy with companions and unfair without them (If you go into a lost invasion without decent balance and dodge, you're gonna have a bad time)
-Too short. No side areas to explore
-WAY too many cutscenes

All in all, its a great game.

-got stuck in the terrain twice
-hits barely register

I hate this game and I'm bad at it but good customization and my friends always pull me back. Almost recommend but honestly it's not that good.
