I hold a strong disapproval for modern gaming due to the prevalence of free-to-play games, microtransactions, and the introduction of battle passes, which have fundamentally deteriorated the gaming experience. Additionally, as gaming has become mainstream, the intrusion of "wokeness" is evident, leading to the disappearance of open voice chats and the suppression of edgier, wild west elements.

Instead of creating games for the sole purpose of providing enjoyment, developers now prioritize monetization strategies and adhere to a more politically correct narrative. Games are designed not to maximize players' fun but to extract the maximum amount of money possible, essentially draining players' wallets.

In the past, one would pay a fixed price for a complete game, and the satisfaction came from skill and dedication, allowing players to earn cool skins, items, and equipment through gameplay or achievements. Sadly, this ethos has largely faded away. The golden era of gaming, in my view, reached its peak before 2012.
