The programming element is such a unique take on the automation genre that I really enjoy.

Unlike other games of the genre, this one is packed in a cute colorful art style. It continues to trick me into picking it up for a cozy relaxed couch gaming moment, and then itches my need for optimizing everything.

10/10, will be tricked into spreadsheet gameplay again.

I keep finding features that just amazes me. Thinks I would have never thought was possible in a game like this. The level of costumization is unbelievable!

Potion Craft feels like the result of a group of passionate people whose only goal was to create a good game. Dont expect some grand storyline, lore og deep characters. There is nothing to distract you from what this game does best: Gameplay.

It has a fine variation of game elements, and a good balance between repetitive actions and reward. Even at full price, I feel like I got my moneys worth.

I'd say I got 8-10 hours of great game play, before I reached lategame where things are a little unfinished. It is early access after all.
11-12 hours in, I'm running out of things to spend money on, and all I've got left is completing the alchemy ingredients. Unfortunately, most of them do not yet have any function other than unlocking the next tier of ingredients. This makes it a bit more grindy, where it doesn't feel like your work is paying off. Fortunately, the brewing process is still entertaining, and I plan to finish it all within the next couple of hours or so.

There is a good description of what features are planned in the future. This makes me very excited to return to the game in the future. Great stuff is planned!

Cute, but dull and unsatisfying.

In many ways, especially aesthethically, Mini Motorways is a great successor to Mini Metro. Unfortunately, I found the randomness of the spawn locations in Mini Motorways to be more of an annoyance than fun challenges.

The promo photos on steam show small towns with plenty of space between the buildings, werehouses always pointing in the right direction, and a smaller ratio of house to werehouse than I experienced in the game. In reality, everything is much more cluttered, and I find myself losing merely because there is no space to put down roads between the buildings.

I didn't find myself challenged. Perhaps I am just missing some fundamental strategy that could makes this a more intriguing experience. The whole thing felt a bit dull, and I lacked that boost of dopamine that comes from "winning" or creating that satisfying flow of traffic I expected from a game like this.

A perfect example of storytelling integrated naturally in the gameplay.

Littlewood borrows many features from iconic franchises like Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing, but it also manages to offer unique gameplay, and more than deserves its own spot in the genre.
