5/10 where is bongo bird

Exactly what I expected; Short and sweet. Personally don't think it's worth $15 ($10 would be better) if your only concern is raw gameplay value, but it's not as egregious a price tag as some people say imo.

I adore this game, but I've run into some issues.

1) Dashing is jank.
Doesn't(?) work on a diagonal with WASD input, at least consistently.
Sometimes it doesn't pop in specific situations (which I really don't feel like recreating right now)
It has a weird delay between button press and dodge (take with grain of salt, I'm tired)

2) The 2nd phase of the boss is the only part of the game with any discernible rng, and even without it, it feels extremely random how well an attempt goes. There is just so much ♥♥♥♥ on screen all the time, and you're more likely to get crossmapped than actually die by a mistake you could've avoided reasonably. Been playing on hard mode, still can't beat it. Skill issue, of course, but it just feels unreasonable, especially because the big power-up you get is to the dash, and it makes it even more unreliable, at least in my experience


Yeah I beat it in like 10 minutes once I got some sleep, issues are still there but I could perceive a little faster. I do really like the game, and every level (on hard) up until the final boss has rotations and strategy you (or at least I) can figure out quickly. All it comes down to is execution on the normal levels, and that feels really good. Final boss still does not feel really good; there's too much ♥♥♥♥ and the dash upgrade doesn't really feel like it aside from the fact that you *have* to use it to pulp the enemies that spawn.
