Hollow Knight: Silksong is very difficult.

Pharloom proves to be more hostile, harder to navigate, and easier to die in, repeatedly, than Hallownest ever was.

This is not due to poor design, but the polar opposite! The environments, the enemies... everything, and I mean *everything* about this game is intricately designed in ways that consistently kept me on the edge of my seat. What might feel insurmountable at first, will become second nature in due time.

The attention to detail is nuts. Whenever I wondered, "what happens if I do *this?*", I was always pleasantly surprised. It's seriously scary how dense and well-realized the game is, even considering the infamously long wait.

Truly an all-timer, maybe my favorite game of all time after seeing and doing everything in it at the time of writing.

If you think you can stomach a game that won't pull any punches, that isn't afraid to kill you several times, then you'd be hard pressed to find another one this exceedingly large and tightly designed, let alone at such a price point.

Not for everybody, and kicks like a mule, but highly reccomend if you think you're up for it!!

In Stars And Time is a wonderful game that I deeply resonated with.

The game's stylized, monochromatic graphics and art are pretty, the excellent soundtrack fits every second of gameplay like a glove, and said gameplay is more than mechanically rich and engaging enough for the full extent of its playtime.
Still, though, it is a turn-based RPG at heart, so do be wary if those aren't your type.

I NEED to talk about this game's characters. This game's story.
This is a character-driven experience throughout, and it can be both endlessly charming and depressingly crushing.
The writing is incredible, both incredibly fun and uncomfortably real.
You will grow to love your party members in ways that frustrate you to no end. You'll hate them because you love them, and love them because you hate them.
Some repetitive gameplay elements make themselves apparent around the halfway point or so, but it's intentional and serves the narrative. Still, again, be wary if RPGs aren't your type.

...Amazing queer rep, based as hell, and a game I'll be reccomending people for a looooong time.

Omori if it was good (I like Omori)

Signalis is a game I will probably never forget for as long as I live.

Expertly-crafted survival horror gameplay, unique presentation... and a tragic, intentionally bleary narrative that invites and demands you to look further. To fill in the blanks, to interpret its many themes, and to bridge gaps in a way you think works.

Transcendental game. Girls kiss.

10/10

I did not expect to fall in love with this game nearly as much as I did.

If you're at all a fan of RPGs, puzzles, action/adventure, or better yet, all three, do yourself a favor and pick up this game. I can't express just how utterly blindsided I was by this legendary piece of media. It's a love letter to gaming, and one I was more than happy to rip open.

pls play crosscode thx
pls also buy the dlc it's good
