Today on deadliest catch:

CTD on startup every time. I managed to play it on my old PC a couple years ago, but on this one it refuses to load. There's no troubleshooting help available online as far as i can tell.

Fix your game.

I like to pretend my mech is an imperial knight, with a promethium flamer in one hand, and a plasma cannon in the other.

Edit: the "dread" skin for the mech has decals like an IG uniform on the shoulders. 11/10

One of my favourite 40K games. The good ones are few and far between and this one well exceeded my expectations.

A lot of the mechanics feel like the tabletop as well, giving it more depth than your average xcom clone.
Shoot with your intercessors? that's 40 shots into your target, each shot has a chance to hit or miss individually. No more emptying a full clip into something only to not hit it even once.

Absolutely love this game.

Update: Devs came back and the AI is much better, as is the unit pathing. Game is fun now.


I really want to give this game a positive review, the music, art style, and gameplay mechanics are great. HOWEVER, until archers AI is fixed and they actually shoot from walls and towers, the game is unplayable. They work fine on the ground, but then why even build towers.

I'll check again in 3 months or so, and if the AI is better i'll change my review.
