I played for about 2 hours, beat two levels and two bosses first on "Hard as balls" difficulty, and then on "Normal". The game is frustrating and rage-inducing, mostly done on purpose, just like the OG AVGN games, and for some, it may be fun that way, like a gag. A game that is a sh!tload of f%#&, I get it. But some of the level design choices are questionable and downright suck. The game can get to a point where you keep dying and you question why you're even playing it. Overall, it's fun, some of the time, but extremely frustrating. I will get the NES release to add to my collection, and I'm happy to see the Nerd finally have his own official NES game, the console that spawned his show, but as for "recommending" this game. I don't think I can. This can only be enjoyed by hard-core AVGN fans, or speedrunners looking for a challenge. That's it.

P.S. I could do without the explicit mocking of Jesus. Some might laugh at that, but just be considerate towards good hearted Christians. I get the Super Mecha Death Christ is an old AVGN character, but making him the "evil enemy" in this felt wrong, and forced. Just my opinion.

Haunting, fun, and simple zombie game. Soundtrack is killer and makes you wanna keep playing.

Verdun is one of the most realistic, balls to the walls, first person shooters I've ever played. 1-2 hits and you're done. Unlike many other FPS titles where the player can take a bulletstorm, Verdun is also very faithful to the historical event that it's based on, many maps you play in are indeed real WW1 battlegrounds, don't even get me started on the realistic No Man's Land!

If you're a fan of WW1, or looking for a new FPS shooter to try out, ditch Battlefield 1 (which I won't lie is also a fun game, but nowhere as realistic as Verdun) then definitely give this game a shot! I highly recommend it!

I've owned this game for quite awhile now, like, 3-4 updates ago. Only thing is, I owned it in a "different" way, but after finding out about the recent update, and since my birthday was near, I asked a friend to finally purchase it for me and my God.. What a game!

If you're a hardcore survival enthusiast, or just a person who wants a harsh, no hand holding survival game experience, then this is definetly for you. I'd HIGHLY recommend it. There are only a couple flaws I have with the game but they're so minut that they don't even compare to the rest of the things I love about it! If I may, here are some of my suggestions on what you folks at Hinterland can possibly add in the near future:

- Allow players to sleep in cars, although they might get very cold overnight.
- (For Sandbox) After your character dies, and you create a new one in the same region, have it be possible to find the corpse of the old character with all their belongings, food, etc.
- There are times when your character will become a bit hungry too quick, like, if I ate an entire fish in one sitting, I'd be pretty full for over 8 hours, not become "ravenous" again in little under 4 hours.


That's pretty much it! All in all, this game is hella fun. It's immersive, it's tense and keeps you on your toes, and the voice acting for the characters are very well done and don't seem out of place at all. Keep up the awesome work you guys! Please don't abandon this like many other "Survival Games"! This one has plenty and plenty of potential and it completely shows!

Very great zombie survival game! I recommend it to ALL my friends. This game has to be one of the best and FREE Zombie Survival Games out there. 9/10 for me!
