I'm gonna be honest, even after playing 4 and 5 after this, this game still has my favorite level design and aesthetic in the series, I really hope this gets a remaster like V2 did

I really wish I could make a mixed review for this game, Theres alot of good aspects, the gameplay feels great and the balancing is nice, but theres alot of major issues in the game as well; Single Player is absolute garbage, the Challenge system is not great and some of the weekly bonus challenges (ones you can't re-roll!) require you to play battle royale, the maps are very small and boring, there isn't a single big map in this game, Vehicles are sort of all over the place, Helicopters are very easy to shoot down because of the fast RPGs and very responsive guided Missiles, Tanks are easy to blow up because of the Weakpoint System which is broken and will register hits as weakpoint which means you'll get blown up at half health for no reason sometimes, Theres tons of Micro-Transactions (I'm apart of the problem, I've bought some of them, I'm sorry.) And they keep adding limited time modes which absolutely no one cares about, I wish they'd just focus on the modes that the community DOES care about, and make larger maps for us... Oh yeah, also theres a really bad Memory Leak which people are just not talking about, And they Lied to us and went back on their word, they said Portal would have Full XP even with bots, but then pulled the plug on that within about 2 weeks.

After the disappointment that was Mario Kart World, this is a VERY welcome alternative, infact I just straight up prefer the tracks in this game over the World tracks, gameplay wise I prefer the variety of this game, but will say I think I prefer the driving in mario kart abit more, as a complete package though?
Yeah ♥♥♥♥ World and its $90 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, get the digital deluxe edition for this game instead, it packs alot more content than mario kart does.

I wish I gave this game more of a chance before, this is pretty much my dream game with an accessible sim with simple to understand and get to grips with controls that plays very good on a controller!

I am a huge fan of this series, I've been around since 4U, not nearly as much as many others, but still I've been around for abit, this game is wonderful, some people might not enjoy the focus on the story as much instead of just spamming hunts like you've done in previous games, but I don't mind it at all, the game is easy, honestly probably the easiest Monster Hunter I've played so far, but my god this game is poorly optimized, just about everything about this game runs poor as hell, I hope capcom can update it and eventually make it run good, but as it runs right now, just wait before you buy.
