First off, LOVE the game! Note: I have only played the standard and not VR.
When you need a good spook, this game is for you. The ambience and the mechanics of game play is so good, and I get chills down my spine every time the ghosty breathes in my ear. Even in harmless training session, I kept entering fight or flight mode.
As it is still consider a early access, there are bugs and glitches to be expected, sometimes frustrating, sometimes making it even better, but they are proactive on updating and fixing the game.
