Take Two has introduced a new EULA which allows them access to see your passwords, usernames, bank information, shipping addresses, IP, device location, device information, phone numbers, browser data including history and any search that you make. They also make modding bannable in a singleplayer game.

They've lost the plot

War Thunder and Gaijin as a whole has to be the single most predatory game and game company in the world. If you play up to tier 3 or 4, sure go for it and have fun, but playing past that is just painful.

The core of the game is centred around a mechanic where you earn silver lions for doing well in a match, and need to pay silver lions to buy, crew, repair, and upgrade vehicles and ammo. When you get to higher battle ratings you start needing to pay 10,000+ SL (it used to be in the 20-70K range and for ships it still is) to repair your vehicle for dying, There is a chance (for the average player below 50% as even scoring a kill doesnt necessitate youll make money) to make money in a match.

In gambling a person doesnt get the dopamine hit when they win the money, they get it when they place the bet. Essentially in War Thunder you get the hit of dopamine when you hit to battle, and if you make SL in a match it doesnt feel all that much better. On the flip side when you lose SL in a match, much the same when you lose chips in a bad bet it feels TERRIBLE, but you click to battle again just for that dopamine hit.

The primary issue with this comes when people start spending money on this game. If you spend money on something then you are more inclined to try and stay with it, and so you spend more money to try and keep making more money, and the cycle repeats. There are so many hundreds of issues with the game but thats the primary one in my opinion.

The solution to this is just dont play top tier, play low tiers where you're guaranteed to make money as the repair costs are in the hundreds. I guarantee Gaijin keeps it this way in order to lull in new players and make them think youll always make money in this game.

I am ashamed to say I had to spend ~$200 on this game before I was strong enough to stop and break that disgusting cycle. I plead with you if you are going to play this game then NEVER spend money on it and dont play high tiers.

But more than anything please dont give that game that first chance, dont let the free to play label blind you, just dont play this game, go buy ravenfield, go buy battlefield, go buy something that doesnt have a subscription where you need to pay a dollar a day to enjoy a mediocre game.

My review will say 550 ish hours but I have well over 1200 hours on PS4.

I say that starbound is a good game with alot of potential and I do realise it has been out for a long time but it is lacking in content. I have played 40 hours when making this review and I have gotten this much time on the game from the main quests where you have to find settlements and scan them which takes a hell of a long time. the solar systems lack large amounts of planets which is annoying for a game based on exploring solar sytems. To make and upgrade armour and stations requires alot of rare materials which requires hours of grinding to get. If you play starbound with friends then it is alot of fun same with mods. I recommend this game because of the large amount of fun mods and because its fun with friends. The side quests are also really fun and if you can get past the scanning quests all of the dungeons and bosses are amazing.
