good game, much fun especially with friends

after having played this game for about 5 hours i can comfortably say that i enjoy it

The gameplay loop is simple but effective. I highly recommend playing with friends, otherwise you might have to wait a few minutes to play in a group.

For those that mainly try to play the game solo or against AI, make use of Sal, the little axolotl guy in a tank, he can scrap items with the fabricator thingy which can be useful.

for the pricetag of 30 euros, the game is in a complete state, has purely cosmetic MTX providing no pay to win aspect and can give you quite a few hours of fun PvP and PvE gameplay.


One note i would like to make however,

Give penalties to players that leave earlygame/midgame. It has happened so often for reasons such as"this isn't the ship i picked" or "new player, let's leave". Hell my introductory match was with a group of 3 premade guys, belittling me for being level 1 and being a brand new player (game came out 2-3 days ago).

love it, definitely something to play with a group more than solo.

The game has its initial flaws but im certain most will be hammered out in future updates.

Review after 130+ hours

The good
- survival progression is easy to learn, similar to Ark Survival Evolved in it's unlocking of weaponry, armor and structures, simple but effective.
- Intel points are easy to obtain via leveling but also through exploration of locations ingame
- The vehicles are satisfying to drive and fly.
- Group play is recommended but not forced, so solo gameplay is viable
- Story focused quests are fun to experience and have some nice cutscenes when they are present.
- Skills are interesting and give lots of options for combat. it is however more centered around melee than ranged as ranged is easily blocked for a while by the holtzman shields.
- the sandworms make me feel like the sand is an actual threat and gives a form of urgency that feels good.

The bad
- Server stability is iffy, this is however currently being worked on diligently
- Even though solo gameplay is possible, it will take you significantly more time to progress and guild gameplay is highly
recommended for an optimal game experience (if you are interested in the Landsraad system).
- PvP is required to progress at some point(deep desert) making it harder for potential PvE focused players. This is also being
worked on due to enough comments about it
- Water drums can not be separated via circuitry system (if circuit 2 is empty it will just consume from circuit 1)
- basically zero non-PvP player interaction in the time I've played (June 5th to June 17th) besides my guild mates and a couple of
friends

conclusion
The game has lots of work to be done, but i still love the gameplay, playing with mates and last but not least, im obsessed with dune lore which makes this so much more fun for me. Without spoilers, i know this is not dune canon but still.

Interesting game, however PvP seems unbalanced. I've mainly played the game with friends so that it would be more fun to play but solo, this game isnt that great in my opinion. That is however just an opinion and everyone will think differently about it

I've been playing tekken since the age of 7 with my dad on the ps2, ever since i've played every single installment of the game including the ones taht came before the ps2.

This game is always going be fun to play, but the focus on the rage-art and heat system will still be something to be slightly annoyed by, but its managable and can be worked around once you are skilled enough to know when to block.

I highly recommend the game to any players that are interested in it.

very fun when you are able to play with friends and/or an active guild. plenty of content to explore and nice story to experience.

Theres only a few games that i can say went past their redemption Arc into an expansion of content so big that it legit makes me forget about the bad things that happened upon release. No man's Sky did a great job and continues to do a great job along the way. I can not wait for the next content drops and interesting updates to come.

Game is great, but the forced Sony thing with the fact that 69 countries cant make PSN accounts and 120 in total might not have access to the game they paid for. Big nopes
