Early Access Review
Genuine, addictive fun. It's obviously still rough, but I spent five consecutive hours playing it on my first go. This has the potential to last for a long time, to be sure.

Best played with your own friend group, and the mod scene is already pretty wild, so I can see this becoming quite the heavy hitter as it continues - as long as it gets frequent updates, of course.

I rarely write reviews, but I just completed Little Inferno and feel...overwhelmed and excited! I first saw this game played on YouTube and I bought it thinking it would be a neat little time-consumer. Was I ever wrong! Little Inferno is much more than just burning stuff and watching the flames flicker out. There is a depth here you wouldn't expect at first glance. It's a short game (I completed it in just over 7 hours, but I also spent a lot of time distracted, and making sure I got all 99 combos, some of which are a little...vague), and yet it ends on a high note that made my heart swell at 5 in the morning.
The graphics are a little bit Tim Burton; unique, peculiar, and that sort of creepy-cute; the fire effect is realistic and oddly comforting. The music is fantastic and emotional, when it picks up you really feel it; it's not just background noise. Gameplay is pretty standard and easy to grasp (click-and-drag, mostly), and the only thing really holding you back are the combos, which are mostly obvious - the more vague ones feel rather satisfying to complete.
If you want a rather quick game that's fun to play, easy to understand, and surprisingly multi-faceted and emotional - buy Little Inferno.
