Mount & Blade: Warband is a game.
It is a game about trading, where you buy products for cheap where they are in bulk, then sell them for high prices where there are few of them.
It is a game about politics, where you ask lords if they need tasks done, and you earn favour by doing them.
It is a medieval tournament simulator, where you bet on yourself to win in a ~7 stage tournament.
It is a medieval peasant/knight/slave/baron simulator (pw) where you mine/chop wood/fight enemies/help knights/lord over groups of people.
It is a napoleonic-era fighting game with an active community where you fight with muskets and swords against real people/bots.
It is an archer simulator, where you snipe enemies off from a distance.
Finally, it is a open world medival mercenary/lord/baron/king simulator where you command troops from a size of 1-500, recruiting peasants, training them into warriors, knights and archers who help you conquer castles, villages and towns as you try to either reunite the land under: an existing faction, a claimant to a thone or your own banner.

Absolutely amazing game. Worth much, much more than $10. I'm going to be getting hundreds of hours out of this game.
