War thunder was once a great game, a game id dump hours upon hours into but that has sadly fallen away. Its sad to say but warthunder was at its peak in its early years a rewarding economy grinds didnt take multiple hundreds of hours and was just fun to play. Despite community out cry they wont change anything, it's like talking to a brick wall, unfortunately Gaijin is able to do whatever they was simply because of how unique this game is. They dont have a serious competitor to make them think twice about their choices, especially in the recent years with the addition of top tier premiums which they once stated would never become a thing. Games are ruined because of these, new players spending $70 on a tank to just die once and leave putting your team at a serious disadvantage, certain BRs have become unplayable due to this, mainly 10.0 where games are land slides nothing you do in the game can help you. For YEARS the BRs have been way to compressed and for YEARS theyve done nothing, late WW2 tanks should not be fighting mid cold war tanks that have HEAT ammunition. For air it can be so much worse, being in a late WW2 jet/early cold war jet and having to fight AAMs with no countermeasures or flares, being chased down by planes going twice your speed and are twice as maneuverable as you, theyre recent "suggestion" to the economy changes is just one of the many that have went through that have ruined this game. once you could play the game for fun and make good RP and money gain, now its impossible to grind without the combination of a premium vehicle and premium account, and even then the rewards are laughable. you can have the greatest game of your life and your rewards wouldnt show it. Despite gaijins stance on review bombing its so far been the only thing to catch their eye, slightly. and for you new players reading the reviews to figure out if you should play this or not, DO NOT PLAY IT. it is not worth your time, energy, and sanity. it will attempt to drain your sanity until you just give in and dump your wallet at the game.
