Very fun Slasher. On normal difficulties it is a pristine power fantasy, especially in co-op with your friends.

A MUST for every 40k fan anyways.

The operations (non-campaign co-op missions) seem also well made, providint a distinct difference to the campaign with the class system. At the time of writing there are only 6 operations, which tie in to the Campaign.

PvP is fun, although visual customization for Chaos Forces is not present, which is a bummer.

I believe that you can have at least 30 hours of good fun with this game. The game is very high quality.

The game is a fun story, in a "operate a computer" setting. You can feel a bit hacker-y and competent. Visuals and Audio are appealing and immersive. The game is voiced for all characters that require being heard (there are some pure-chat-interactions).

The story itself if obviously the heart of the game. It doesnt get bogged down in the whos, whats and logistics of things. Some plot points seem predictable, but there are some rather cool reveals.

If you ever thought you wanted to jump into the deep end about the "what could be" of US-Government Law Enforcement, this will be a fun ride.

The game is quite short, taking me about 3.5 hours to complete with repeating a certain part twice (about 20 extra minutes).

The game having this length is POSITIVE. It doesnt overstay its welcome, features introduced are unique in their own way and operate smoothly.

Give this game a try, I think this developer should try his hands at another game of this type.

first 4 hours: it gud.

Very fun so far. Not gonna refund. Definelty needs work - sometimes the way for players to walk are a bit too far.

Mixture of FPS and RTS in a PVP scenario is splendid. Give it a try. Its only about 20 quid.

Game good. I dont understand why the frick people complain. It is a Tech-Demo. It was annonced like that.

Give it a shot. See what it has, and what it will get. You have two hours to try out, you can return it.

Should you play U-Boat?


Actually yes. Why?

1. Nice graphics, but be prepared to not play on a potato.
2. Cool gameplay loop, many upgrades to your U-Boat. Modding's coming in actually, so there`ll be dev-content and community-content. Have a look at the roadmap if you are interested any further.
3. I cannot sink alle of these Allied-Scumbag-Cargo-Ships alone, report for duty!

Ein Spiel, dass Spiele wie Squad in den zweiten Weltkrieg katapultiert. Nicht zu casual, aber nicht so komplex wie Arma.

Diese Review wurde nach ca. 50 effektiv gespielten Stunden in zwei Spielversuchen geschrieben.


Ich schreibe diese Review nicht, um dem Leser zu vermitteln, ob dies ein gutes Spiel ist. Weil "Gut" zwar vielschichtig ist, aber nicht für dieses Spiel zutrifft. Trotzdem habe ich in den letzten 2 Wochen ungefähr meine gesamte Spielzeit in dieses Spiel investiert und tat dies gerne. Ich versuche zu verdeutlichen, warum dieses Spiel etwas für den Leser sein könnte.

Zuallererst ist festzustellen - dieses Game ist buggy und unperformant. Es kommt aus Deutschland, und wurde mit sehr großen Ambitionen erstellt.

Am besten lässt sich X4, zumindest ist dies mein Bezug, mit der Kampagne von Mount and Blade: Warband vergleichen. Aus dem Nichts zu Allem.

In X4 beginnt ihr (meist) mit einem einfachen Schiff, einem Jäger. Ohne viel Geld. Ohne Alles. Durch Kampf, Handel und Missonen könnt ihr euch monetär nach oben arbeiten, eine riesige Sandbox. Es ist das einzige Sci-Fi spiel, dass euch solche Möglichkeiten eröffnet. Wenn ihr euch quasi in First Person euer Imperium aufbauen wollt, dann ist dieses Spiel möglicherweise etwas für euch. Selbst ganze Teile der Karte können euch gehören. (Übrigens, das Spiel wird weiter developed, mit tollen Updates in diese Richtung)


Ihr müsst euch auf Bugs und viel googeln einstellen, wenn ihr neu seit. Viele der Mechaniken habe ich selbst noch nicht verstanden. Die meisten Fehler wie stuckende Schiffe löst ihr durch Warten oder Neuladen. Neuladen hilft wirklich viel :)
Oftmals schießen die Automatisierten Geschütze nicht auf die Gegner, ihr könnt manche Sachen nicht zerstören. Obwohl es keinen Sinn macht.

Ich kann nicht wirklich zusammenfassen, was es gut macht - aber weiß relativ schnell was mir nicht gefällt. Deshalb kann alles andere ja nicht schlecht sein.


Ich gebe dem hier eine eingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung, wenn ihr euch genau bei genau solchem Aufbau und Grinding seht. Für alle anderen - kauft es, versucht es zwei Stunden, wenn es euch garnicht catcht, gebt es zurück.
