What JIT entails: It combines the speed of compiled code with the flexibility of interpretation. Instead of compiling everything before running, JIT compiles code during execution.

Profiling: The engine watches for "hot spots" (code used often).

Translation: It turns those spots into native machine code instantly.

Optimisation: It optimises based on real-time data.

Vital for Java and JS. Without it, apps are slow.
