Very fun game but sometimes the people on here make me want to throw my desk

i really really want to like this game but it doesnt work with my controller. i cant walk 5 steps before the character has a seizure. It has a charm i cant enjoy sadly.

This is one of the few games that left me walking away feeling motivated. It felt like reading a book condensed in 3 hours. The feelings it left with me were intense. 10/10 story telling.

Hades 2: Familiar Excellence, Missed Opportunities - 8/10

Hades 2 delivers the same polished formula that made the original shine. The mechanics work, the personality is there, but something's missing that final spark.

The relationship system feels like untapped potential. You'll have these sweet moments with characters, but then... that's it. Imagine unlocking private training sessions with different characters where you learn their signature moves. Even small touches like personalized weapon mods based on who you've been talking to would make every relationship feel meaningful beyond the dialogue. I personally hope there will be love interests.

Don't get me wrong, the writing is excellent and the characters have real personality. But here's the thing: there's just so much talking without anything actually happening in the world. You'll spend ages in conversations that feel important, but then you go back to playing and nothing's changed. It creates this weird disconnect where your relationships exist purely in cutscenes while the actual game stays exactly the same.

You care about these people, but that care doesn't translate into how you experience anything. The story lives in one bubble, the gameplay in another.

The foundation here is rock solid. With just a few bridges between story and mechanics, this could easily be a masterpiece. As it stands, it's a really polished game that leaves you wanting just a bit more magic.

Ok, after playing this game for 50+ hours I can confidently say that this game does not respect your time.

10/10 I would reccomend this to someone who needs to study. I put this bad boy on and listen to my study guides. I really only play this for the walking part.

I would not reccomend the game unless you have a friend to play it with. There is a very steep learning curve and the newest killer is even harder to deal with. Fun for people who know how to play but beyond frustrating for newer players.
