I've been playing a bunch of deduction/mystery games recently and this one is one is one of the best. Its the only game I've played that rivals the feel of Obra Dinn.

I just finished the last DLC of the detective pass before making this review and I highly recommend the whole package.

I haven't played a puzzle game with this type of movement before. It was fun and ramps up the challenge well by the end. It gave me a lot of Legend of Grimrock vibes. Do recommend!

If you have any nostalgia for the NES era, this collection does a great job of pulling the best attributes and mixing in modern game design. I had a ton of fun playing through it.

I wish there were more deduction based story games. This was the best one I've played since Obra Dinn.

Spoiler free, quick summary, I've never played a game like this before and I'm really sad that I don't think I'll find another game like it.

Graphics, Music, Voice Acting, Creativity and Game Mechanics all get a big thumbs up from me.

Lucas Pope also made Papers Please. You all have played that by now right? He's really good at genre breaking. I really hope this game inspires some others.

The game's appearance had me a bit pessimistic at first, but its great! It's probably the most fun construction game I've ever played. Although it shares themes and pieces with other games, it almost feels like a different genre. As you progress, the new things you learn really just keep adding to the fun. It also encourages you to just try things with very little penalty for mistakes. You can pick up and move factories and belts if you realize that they would work better a couple tiles over. No materials lost. I highly recommend this game.

This game takes a bit to get into because it is very difficult and unforgiving. Once you get past the hurdles, it is a really fun, fast paced game with tight controls and a lot of "depth".

The first time I played this game I didn't really "get" it. I ran around, I found some food, I died. Then I put away the game for a long time. Recently I decided to play again and started to realize just how much depth there is to the game. I've now played for hundreds of hours, I've tried streaming on twitch and watching others do the same. It has become one of my favorite games and I definitely recommend it.
