This approach could reasonably be classified as malware. Upon launching the game, I encountered a crash accompanied by the following notification: "The system environment has been detected as abnormal. Please close any unnecessary programs and try restarting your machine before attempting again." Additionally, ACE processes continue running in the background even when the game is not active.

It is also troubling to note that the game and ACE's privacy policies explicitly state that user data is shared. For example: "Our servers are located in Singapore. Our support, engineering and other teams are located in Singapore and will have access to your information." and "We use third parties and work with our affiliates to help us deliver the best possible experience" This level of data access and sharing is concerning. I strongly recommend uninstalling the game to avoid compromising your privacy and security.

The game cannot be considered truly free-to-play, as several core features — such as the skill system, certain ships, and various activities — are either locked or significantly restricted behind a paywall. Additionally, the in-game economy is ruined by multiboxers. While I had fun for ~100 hours, progression as a non-Omega account has become low-rewarding. A more transparent model, such as offering the full game for a one-time payment equivalent to six months of Omega, would be far more appealing. The game has considerable potential, and I would gladly support it with such a purchase model.
