This game is absolutely fantastic. The story instantly pulled me in with the detailed setting, characters that had depth, and an excellent narrative. Roadwarden does a great job at describing places and characters in a way that makes you really feel immersed in the setting.

Your decisions are just about the only thing that matter in this game, which I really enjoy. Even the combats are reduced down to a set of choices based on your level of preparation and gear that you accumulate throughout your adventure. This allows the player to really focus on the storytelling and not have to also worry about combat mechanics or new gameplay that differs from the core of Roadwarden.

The story took me around 8 to 10 hours on my first playthrough and I had missed a decent amount of things throughout my journey and didn't quite get the ending I wanted. Upon a second playthrough I felt much more comfortable with the 40 (or 30) day time limit to solve the penninsula's mysteries and was able to go back and forth between all of the characters doing as much as I could to complete all of their quests while also making enough money to get the gear I needed. The game also doesn't take an overwhelming amount of time to 100% and I got pretty close to accidentally doing this on my second playthrough. There were a few achievements that were definitely a little out of the way, but are not out of place in the story.

I would recommend anyone who is a fan of text-based RPGs or even fantasy RPGs in general give this game a shot. The story immediately pulls the player in and the game has great pacing throughout the entire journey. If you aren't sure if you will like the game or not, you could always just try the demo! That being said, I cannot recommend this game enough!

it feels like the last modern warfare but with more children screaming and less slide cancelling. 10/10

This game has it all! Farming, mining, monster slaying, romance, capitalism, combat, and much more. How could you not want to make ridiculous amount of money farming strawberries, blueberries, and cranberries every year for decades? My favorite part of the game is romancing the same character every play through and never exploring any other options. Making sure to ignore my responsibilities and spending the entire day at the bar trying to beat the arcade game is also great! And who could forget beating children at every single minigame every season. Truly a masterpiece!

This game is very enjoyable however the campaign is terrible and zombies is limited to one map without DLC. Overall though all of the zombie maps are entertaining and the modding scene has lots of great creators that make extremely fun maps.
