Extremely promising. In it's current state the game is more of a framework but what's here is fantastic. As a big fan of void crew a big complaint i always found myself having was the lack of individual combat, and this is something that the game does quite well while still maintaining the fun of space combat. Heck one of my favorite features is the fact that even as an individual you can get out of your ship and grappling hook onto enemy ships, then shoot them to blow them up. Basically there's a lot I can go on about but what's already here is very solid and fun to play so I very much look forward to the future of this title.

You honestly don't even need to have played a single souls game to enjoy this. If you're a fan of roguelikes, speedrunning, and rpgs I'd highly recommend giving this a shot. While it can be a bit obtuse at times and prompt a little wiki surfing for some secrets it's absolutely addicting and even at my current 44 hours of playtime I still have no real desire to put the game down.

Instead of being hundreth person to comment on the fact that this is somehow only a demo i'll instead say that this game is something that truly doesn't come around often. Sure it's another action roguelike, but the level of polish the game exudes and satisfaction I get from each run is something that really only Risk of Rain 2 touched on for me. A lot of games in this genre fall into the "Survivors" category but this one has so much more than that going on and I love it (not to say i don't also love survivors games simple as they can be). I will echo everyone else here and say that I can't wait to see what the full game offers because there's not just potential here, but there's already a really fun game that I can see other devs releasing full price as is and slapping an Early Access tag on it.

Do you like watching your screen go from a single projectile and a few enemies to a absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of seizure inducing visuals, all at a gorgeous and crisp 3 fps? Are you looking to crack open that new 400 hour youtube documentary on some niche subject but need the sweet feeling of progress to accompany your ever dwindling attention span? Do you like basically any other game in the survivors genre? If you answered yes to any of these do yourself a favor and pick up Rogue: Genesia, it's effectively everything I enjoy in my little timewasters with a surprising amount of content that even at the time of writing this i still haven't fully explored.

If you like roguelites and you like turn based games i'd highly recommend giving this little game a shot. Since updates have stopped your mileage will vary but i personally got around 20 hours out of it with a friend and it was a blast. There's really not a lot like it sadly but that makes it even more of a treat. The one warning I will give is that honestly, a $30 price tag is a bit steep so i'd recommend waiting for it to go on sale like I did.

For the 2 people who played inkbound it's like that mixed with risk of rain. Basically if you like playing roguelikes with friends i'd highly recommend this one, especially for the price point.

Did you like sniper elite 5? If yes, great! It's more of the same, quite literally nothing has changed for better or worse. As for me i'm absolutely thrilled about this, although the fact it's full price brings it down a bit admittedly. Still i love co oping this franchise with friends so glad to have more missions even if its just glorified (but large) dlc. The only thing about the game that makes me sad is i miss playing as John Sniperelite and constantly hearing about how things will come in very useful.

I hate to say it but this game is genuinely really fun, scratches my pso and mmo itch and although there's currently really only 6 hours worth of content i'd say it's a easy pickup, and i say this despite being someone who really isn't a huge fan of furry stuff in general.

A true jrpg sandbox where you can do anything from living out a adventurer life where you dive into dungeons for the best loot, committing atrocious and unspeakable crimes against humanity for profit, to living out your simple farming life turned trading empire. It has a lot of jank and "interesting" mechanics but if anything that adds to the charm for me. If you enjoy create your own adventure style games and ones you can grind countless hours into i'd recommend easily.
