10 minutes in and I've been dogwhistled by conformists 3 times already. A game funded by a crypto-communist organisation, the EU, CLEARLY trying to sell me an opinion instead of a good time.

"Luckily the station you are in was built for any ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to be able to play this game. You just Press A, walk there, Press A. Swim!!" was damn near literally the dialog. Well that's not very promising is it? Game devs had more faith in me when I was 8 years old playing Super Mario.

Eco-mode under the graphics settings? 'Now I've seen it all', I said to myself. But I hadn't. Maybe if you made a better game my bank's computers wouldn't have to run for my refund.

I'm not an enthusiast.

Christmas '24 I was gifted a T16000M and a TWCS Throttle. I flew some mil-sims and fighter jet games and Star Wars. I decided to shell out the moneys for the Standard Edition because I was solo in the house for a week.

It's buggy. Crash to desktop, mission not completing, skipping a section and then being directed to the wrong place or flight plans have changed.

But it's not too buggy. I have been getting what I want from this game.

I've seen my graffiti rendered in 3D, I've pointed at places I lived, visited places I wanted to see, progressed in the simulation of an aviation career. It's a very good product that contains what's on the box, even though it's buggy sometimes.


I get the most fun from deciphering alien cockpits just from the interface and my hotkeys and then getting them to start. Bonus points if the cockpit is in French.

There is a bit of a grind to get the acquired in-game money for Career examns, but there's also a real sense of progression - just when I thought 'this is gonna take forever' I unlocked transporting parachutists which pays a lot better.

This should be enough anecdotal information to help you with your purchase.

I wish there was a medieval mode (change world to ancient maps).

MFL is perfect for those with PTSD from KSP.

Best TD since the one with the plants, the one with the robots, the one with the commentator, and the one with the knights.

This game was crap, especially in comparison to its predecessors, and to top it off, Blizzard employees celebrated Charlie Kirk's death.

"Various Blizzard employees have expressed celebration on Bluesky. While Microsoft made vague reference to firings, they weren't specific as to who or what division."

So not only can I not recommend this game, I recommend never buying Blizzard products again.

I could rip this game a new a-hole but it does not deserve such treatment.
It's clearly a labor of love and passion, I just didn't think it was of high enough quality, or enough fun.

The game has 3 levels.

I finished all 3 and replayed the first one for the high score.

Total time played: 30 minutes.

Simple fun. Stardude Valley. Cracktorio. Why did no one make this before?

It is, in many ways, an honorable Alien-franchise game.

..But some important elements of it are cringe: the animations, the voice acting, the script. The aliens walk like they are made of wood, the voice actors sound like their boss is watching. It's like it's there cause it had to be, not because it wants to leave an impression.

The gameplay, it's a bit prefabricated. There's not enough control available and not enough brainpower required.

Conclusion: this game is perfect for, and probably mostly praised by: console gamers.
