Calling it the "best walking simulator I've played" doesn't do the game's open world, story and characters enough justice. A crazy blend of science-fiction, true crime, vaporwave, and overly-stylistic characters create a world you love to jump into.

You've never played a game like it - on face value it comes across like an open world walking sim before things take a drastic turn. Some of the puzzles can be a little flustering, but don't let it get to you. Just explore elsewhere and take your time discovering the solar system and be floored when everything comes together.

An emotionally stunting, yet incredibly rewarding couple of hours that reminded me of the beauty that video games can provide as a medium.

I loved it, and you should play it. Just... play it alone in case the eyes decide to spontaneously leak.

I was blown away when I heard that one man created this game.

Stardew Valley's in its most bare form a farming simulator - a title which does not precede the hundreds of hours hardcore gamers put into it. That's because this game's way too expansive to be pigeon-holed into one genre. A few hours in, you realize Stardew Valley's got so many small, but rewarding objectives and achievements to strive for that you spend days simply trying to reach these goals. The level of detail in all of these aspects is significant enough that nothing seems overlooked, even 80 hours in when you're finally reaping the practical rewards and cinematics of these goals.

Loved this game. Easy recommendation.

I'm about 10 hours in by this review and I can say so far that- especially for a free-to-play- Warframe's a blast. The controls are smooth and have a great learning curve while combat's generally fun and varied. Unlike other free-to-plays (I'm looking at YOU, BLACKLIGHT: RETRIBUTION!!!), taking the high road of not using real-world currency to purchase items doesn't leave you in the dust; it takes longer to purchase weapons, but not outlandishly-so. Instead there's a rewarding feeling when you finally grab that beauty of a bow after so many playthroughs.

The only thing so far that bugs me is the repetition, which the game's got too much of. By the time it's reached a final product new missions should likely become a big part of it to add a little variety to the grind, but so far I'm pretty happy with how development's coming for it.

Early Access Review
Rust is a great recommendation to buy as an alpha because of how fun and stable it already is well before the final product.

The game's still transitioning hugely week-by-week- zombies disappeared altogether the other day! But it's surprisingly addictive being dropped into this world and left to fend for yourself by building shacks, killing animals, and upping your arsenal against other more aggressive players.

It should be said though: don't expect your progress to be permanent. With the right time and patience, one player can thieve everything you own within a couple hours regardless of how well-built your shack is. Add this to the server resets that happen every couple of weeks and you'll find yourself getting used to starting fresh more often than you might like.
