It's honestly surprising how much fun can be had from a game this old, no joke. It didn't take me long to beat it, but there was not a single second I wasn't thrilled by it. The ending is also very good haha.

Amazing game.

I really liked it, it is a slow game, and I mean it. You can't skip one single dialogue line and the game FORCES you to play by its rhythm... This might be annoying, but it's the probably the best way to make this experience work.
Even though I probably reached the worst ending possible, I still feel like for a little while I was "part" of the town and I know I'll miss this game because of that.

I was not a fan of the mystery's solution and neither the way it was presented to us, but I also don't think that's the point of this game.
If you are patient or want to feel immersed in a tiny town from 80s slasher movies, this is the game.

This is a hard one to rate because at first glance it not only looks beautiful, but also promising.
While the moveset is very nice, the level design barely lets you have fun with it… The weapon upgrades system? Not very well thought, by the end of the game I had ALL weapons upgraded and 20 thousand gem-thingies to spare. The bosses? They look beautiful and their moveset is awesome, but God are they easy.

This game is filled with little issues in its game design and while I do recommend, it is by no means a good game. It’s no bad either, it’s just… basic.

It's a very short experience (I mean it, took me 15 minutes) but its also a very fun one. The art is awesome and the idea is also very creative.

I would have liked if the game was more clear towards its purpose (if you beat the game you'll get I mean), but in general, it was a sweet 15 minutes fun time.

No mystery is hard enough for me, the greatest detective around... yeah I wish. This was hard as HELL and I had to use tips towards the third half.

It's a very fun game, and while I do find the solution a little bit disappointing and the game a bit longer than it should've been, I enjoyed it.
There's also the rootreemania mode that's unlocked once you beat the game and it seems like a whole new mystery. I won't be tackling that soon, but it's great that we have this much content.

Anyways, really happy to finally having finished this one, now onto the Nancy Drew games!

Wow, this was surprising.
At first glance I was confused. This doesn't have the slickness/combos of Tony Hawk nor the complexity of Skate, it has basically 3 buttons and that's it.
Took me a while, but I finall decided to give it a good chance and play it for real. This is one of those games that grow on you, and I believe you'll enjoy it a lot more if you engage with the community or the whole grind fiction aesthetic (JSRF, BRC, Air Gear etc).

What really surprised tho was the story. It is no Tolkien, but it is FAR from a mediocre generic story. I was engaged with it, it manages to have some subtlety with its themes and almost never overstays its welcome.

Great game, I'll definitely ocasionally play it just to jam with some tunes

I really tried this a lot, and while I can see the appeal and praise the dev's courage to tackle such a unique and polished take on metroidvanias, I REALLY don't like Hollow Knight.

It's not for me. The soundtrack makes me sleepy, the sections go for way too long, and the whole aesthetic make me miss colorful generic fantasy.
Once again, just so nobody puts my head on a pike: Great game, not for me.

I remember playing this during the 2010s RPG Maker craze and liking it. I did not remember anything at all, and after watching my friend playthrough it in 2025 it reminded me how special these little games were.
There's so many creative ideas and just generally fun game design moments, but most of all, the story, while extremely simple is also really unforgettable.

Amazing game.

Today is a very sad day, for it's the day I've beaten LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW. I loved EVERY second of it, it was so much fun and felt like it was made for me.
I'll definitely replay it eventually, maybe even try to get all achievements.

I don't know what to say here exactly, it was just EXTREMELY fun and a great time. There are many moments it becomes obvious the lack of budget, but God, is it fun...

Amazing and unforgettable game.

Wow, what a great surprise!

if there is one thing I really love about indie games is the possibility of contemplating miracles.
This game is a miracle.

Now, I must say, I prefer dogs. So no, NONE of this review comes from the fact that the games has cats haha funny cat cute i love cats haha.

It was made in idTech4 (Doom 3's engine) and it plays like a modern game for the most part. I don't really know if I can call it a immersive sim, but honestly, why does it matter? It's fun and you can be very creative with your approaches, tho that really shines a lot more on the last 2 levels.
It's a mix of Die Hard + No One Lives Forever + MGSV and it works WONDERFULLY well, it shines personality all over the place and I really think I'll play through it again someday.
The main character is a lot of fun too! It's a final girlesque character with a lot of personality and the humor is my cup of tea.
The progression is also really good. Despite noticing some people not enjoying so much the "stronger enemies" on the later levels, I found that I was using EVERYTHING I had to deal with them and it felt really cool.
Oh well, I don't know what else to say, I'm just glad I played this.
