They managed to make the investigation stage of this series into something actually enjoyable, that alone makes it so I can't recommend it enough. However, once you add in the OST, the atmosphere, the classic AA twists and turns, and perhaps the greatest side character the series has ever had in Herlock Sholmes, it ends up contending with the original trilogy as my favorite Ace Attorney series
The Dances of Deduction admittedly weren't the most difficult things in the world but it provided the presentation that previous games could've really benefited from. Seeing people react as you learn their story through the environment and then the explanation afterwords rather than just them barfing out exposition walls made the game flow very well in between the more calm and classic investigation stages. These slower paced areas are a nice reprieve from the ever exciting trial stage so don't get me wrong in thinking I want them out entirely, I am simply appreciating Capcom taking the opportunity to fill a bit of the negative space that's been central to the investigation stage for years and I do hope TGAAC serves as the foundation for further experimentation with said negative space.
I thought I was going to dislike Ryunosuke because he was a dweeb but then I loved him because he's a dweeb.

Every game that make me evil make me lose but I evil and win and feel good? HAHAHAAHAHA good game.

So many hours sunk into this game, so much time farming and doing guided lands BS all just so I can kill a castle melting dragon and prove im not a poser. Proof of a Hero starts playing and he does his final cone attack, I just know I'm right there and finally when I killed him it felt like all of my experiences as a hunter re-entered my mind for that final hit. It didn't even feel real at first but once I heard the commander's voice cheering in awe of my accomplishment I realized just how great every moment I held within this game truly was. Every random helping me farm, my friends who came along here and there to make my journey just a tiny bit easier (3 hunters are better than one). All of it for me to stubbornly attempt to solo Fatalis without his gear, no mods to show me health bars nothing, just pure raw charge blade, yes CHARGE BLADE on fatalis, i'm not a masochist I swear. Once that final swing connected and every emotion went through me I finally fully understood what makes these games so great. Its a metaphorical mountain you have to climb where the higher you go the less air there is to breathe, but once you make it to the top, when it finally hits you that you're no longer looking up but down, nothing but tears at least in my case flows down my face as the smile on my mouth rises. I love you monster hunter world, you're probably one of the most beautiful, well designed games I've ever played and this isn't even a review anymore nor did it really start as one, its a thank you note to a game I now will forever cherish very near and dear in my heart.

Was originally playing it just to kill emerald because of a bet made then I realized that there's a reason Square continues to rehash bits of this game into the modern market despite this game being older than half of their fanbase. Story is nice as ♥♥♥♥,the way they did turn based is actually quite good (until you get like 20 random encounters for walking 5 feet backtracking somewhere, I swear the trek through North Coral is literally hell on earth). Also has replayability factors like how I went with Aerith in the Golden Saucer when I wanted Tifa which made me heavily consider throwing away the hours I already spent on the game just for the scenes I wanted. Seriously dialogue at times seems like it does nothing but then it sneaks up on you like a diaper, I wanted to end up as Don Corneo's date but I didnt get the proper items, free will matters a lot to me in videogames and this old as ♥♥♥♥ game has what most modern games lack : choice. Game also made me question why Cloud's most iconic weapon is the Buster Sword when its literally a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ starter item that you throw away pretty quickly. 9/10 game would be 10/10 if random encounters didnt cause me to mentally shatter every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time I have to backtrack to some place

I already got all the achievements on PS4, the only reason I decided to play the entire thing over again on PC is A. because its that good and
B. I wanted the kirby dante mod among other things

On one hand the game makes me slam my desk with how brainless the colonist are, on the other those retarded moments are what brings this game life and makes the moments when you can just chillax and butcher a cow that much more rewarding. Great game don't recommend if you have the attention span of a grade schooler

A militaristic xenophobe's wet dream (like myself) game felt ♥♥♥ unplayable for my playstyle without this crowning DLC although it is on the expensive side like all Paradox DLC so get it while its on sale like I did and prepare for carnage. Also marauder factions are fun as hell to mess with empires that dislike you and give militaristic empires like myself a much needed boost for a price so I can build my armada while some bird talking about the void under my command razes their outpost to the ground. 10/10 world cracker makes me crack out the tissues
