I have very mixed feelings about this game, Despite only having 84 hours on this game on Steam I have probably played it for 300 hours in total.
The gameplay in itself is very fun You get a choice of 1000s of Aircraft, Tanks and Ships from all sorts of nations running from WW2 to the Cold War, all these options makes it feel like you get 3 games in 1 and combining the Tank and Aircraft gameplay makes for very fun and interesting scenarios. I personally find the damage modelling of the tanks the most interesting as the game calculates shell ballistics as shrapnel enters the vehicles and kills and destroys crew members and modules.
However all this comes at a catch

First of all, if you intend on playing anything post 1950s for free then be prepared to grind the game for a very long time, this factor alone makes this game vastly more boring as you will play this game knowing there are vehicles that you will simply never play. I myself have wanted to play the MiG series of Russian jets in the game but haven't gained the chance due to the grind.

Next, would be the awful balancing of the matchmaker in game this is no more apparent than in the tank aspect of the game as you have the chance of being tiered up so heavily that you wont have any chance of doing anything to your enemy as they will simply outclass you, pair this with the fact that these sorts of games will give you very little xp or in game currency it will make your playthrough much longer unless you are immensely skilled.

Another thing is the blatant pay-to win of this game. Premium vehicles that are much better than your free counterparts? Check. The ability to buy experience or in-game currency for a premium currency? Absolutely. Premium decorative bushes that will make your tank have superior camouflage and therefore gain an advantage? You got it!

These factors make this game really un-fun and you will feel yourself burning out from it very often only to come back and repeat the cycle ultimately making yourself spend money to progress. The fact that the developers rely on your frustration to make money is a big red-flag.

Due to these issues I would have to give this game a 5/10 hopefully a competitor to WarThunder does come along since the developers of this game know they have full control over this genre of game and deliberately make it very frustrating to play.

I am reviewing this game mostly playing it with the Logitech G25 racing Wheel, Pedals and Shifter. Otherwise this game is practically unplayable to me. I do not like the fact that this game requires so many DLCs in order to drive more cars, especially ones i would like to try, this seems like a cash grab on the developers part. However with this aside, this is a very solid sim racing game in a place between Project Cars and iRacing you have very vast customisation options for your cars and can set them up in very specific ways and the tracks on offer are very well made apparently being "laser-scanned" despite not being to any of these tracks myself i have no reason to doubt this. Graphically this game is a bit lacking, but I do not mind since it is a sim racer after all.

Overall I would rate this game a 8/10 due to the number of DLCs

CS:GO Review
This is a great game that somehow still survives the test of time. However this game doesn't come without issues.
Firstly, an absolutely broken ranking system in which I believe doesn't truly reflect on a players actual skill level. while the CSGO ranking system gets things right on an overall level with the majority of players, others, especially those that will play with groups of friends that are far better or worse at the game will be grouped into the wrong skill category. add this with the fact that changing your ranked group gets much harder as you keep playing makes the game tedious if you are interested in getting up the ranks. Additionally there are cases in which the matchmaker absolutely messes up and puts you up against players that are far better or far worse than you making the game not fun for both parties.

Next is the issue with cheating. Although i think CSGO takes great measures in preventing cheating (Overwatch and VAC) more is still needed since some games, especially casual gamemodes it is very likely that you will run into a cheater of some sort however i do not belive in the general consensus in which the game has rampant cheating issues.

The game has great mechanics and balancing that make it feel almost chess-like in how you play with tactics and position yourself and teammates and is great fun when playing with friends while also having a factor of skill with the gunplay that allows some to outshine others.

The optional operations are also very fun when they do come out and i would highly recommend them if you are particularly invested in the game.

Overall i would rate this game a 7-8/10, and hope that valve do fix their ranking system one day.
