Absolute cinema! I got the chance to play both games this year and boy it was an adventure. This game is absolutely peak of RPG genre. I didn't any means rush or stall the progress of the main story, it still took roughly 80hours. The world is so lively and there is so much still undiscovered. Story is great, maybe a bit slow burner time to time but still very good. The characters are so well written and their personas do progress nicely through out the story. Any clumsy controls are in the past when transitioning from the first game. Also many QoL features added, such as pre saved outfits. Strong suggestion to this game for whoever loves the big RPG titles such as Witcher.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but this so earns my GOTY.

A souls-like to be taken seriously.

Game feels buttery smooth, combat is fun and satisfying but still demanding. Animated style characters make give this game a unique touch in graphical design. Many quality of life features in Khazan that you wish from software would implement in their games. If you like soul-likes such as Lies of P, this is absolutely the next one you should try.
