I spent almost two days straight playing the beta with some friends, rarely ever had as much fun in any multiplayer game in comparison. There were some bugs, but that's to be expected in a beta. Surely they'd be gone by the time the full game releases, right?
Right?
The full game rolls around, and I buy it the day it's publicly released, not wanting to spend extra money just to play two days early.
The gameplay immediately feels different, but not in a good way. Dribbling feels less responsive, it's all a bit slower and the bugs are still there. The only thing that actually works is the store, and the Season Pass or its even more expensive Premium version. Unfortunately, this trend has continued. New Updates are only collaborations with franchises for merch, the game itself is still very flawed.
I really wanted to love this game like I did the beta. But unfortunately, the devs simply aren't focused on the right thing.
