Campaign was great the environment design is top tier. Plenty of grinding missions after the campaign in PvE mode. I turned off cross-play which helped with multiplayer connection times.

This is my first turn-based game and I'm loving it! Even after the main story there's plenty of side-content to explore, finding more items, upgrading weapons, maxing characters, trying new builds.
The creative worlds and zones are great, I often find myself just taking my time exploring and admiring the view.
I would like to see build/team presets added for easier swapping, taking time to select so many pictos for each character and then wanting to start over with a totally different build is quite the waste of time.
Adding a tracking journal would be favorable for completionists, there's really no way to know you've missed something unless you've checked every nook and cranny of an area.
Sometimes you find a merchant and don't have enough points to buy everything, so you will have to return at some point, I have no issues with personally making notes of these things, but it would be extremely nice to have an official list in game.

Game has potential, upgrade this, grind more for that etc. Wouldn't mind a PvE mode with some rewards. MashMak the PvPvE extraction mode terrain needs polish and more foliage and cover. Huge open areas are divided by jagged cliffs or smaller dips in terrain you can get stuck in if out of energy. A sniper can sit up and scan huge areas to spot other squads need a bit more division in some areas.
Probably due to player numbers in matchmaking for MashMak or players just don't hit 'ready' which leads to many matches counting down over 1min timer, plus having to watch the same load/wait animation every time before a match (but this is being very picky)
No clue how real balance is in competitive, not had enough time only Plat rank atm. Can lead to being ganged up on by 2-3 enemies while you're team is totally obvious to wtf is going on.
Game has been review bombed I'd pay no attention, this is the first mech game I've played and enjoying it.
The tutorials need to be more in-depth with some characters like Falcon, not even showing some of her flight mechanics. Stage 1 of some tutorials are like 'Left mouse click to fire weapon' hmmmm ok. But then some of the challenges are so over the top hard, you have to have perfect execution and timing, imo needs a bit of balancing and more information in tutorials.

First time playing a game in this genre so far so good, it's a learning process for sure.

Early Access Review
Updating my Review.

6/10 solid f2p shooter, It's worth checking out with it's different modes and coop (3p PvE) rogue-like campaign mode.
It's a bit of a mix of OverWatch and a Military shooter, you level the different Operators to level 8 and weapons to level 13, which open up other options.
However without max XP boosters leveling the weapons seems like quite a grind. Have been using a bolt action sniper for 2 days now and have only achieved 2 levels for it... PvP should just allow full weapon unlocks for everyone maybe?

- I can't stand the sound when hovering over icons, WUB WUB! Sound needs to be changed to something else a faint click etc, or add an option for interface sound level.

- It's really hard to say how I feel about some of the weapons without having them maxed. I'm a fan of the bolt action sniper, but can feel awkward vs all the sliding laser beams everyone is using. (must keep distance)
- Due to low player count at certain times of the day you will have to add EU server etc to your list to find a game with higher ping... Need bigger player counts...

I'm not a big gacha gamer but this one has me hooked. I enjoy the art style and push (tower defense) action. Game allows for manual, auto and even skip for dailies and missions if you have 3 stars completed. :D

If you like base building, defending waves of enemies, tech trees, upgrading weapons and managing the heck of a lot more download the demo and give it a try. Game is pretty dense with some of the later mechanics for setting up different power/energy systems for your base and be a bit confusing but satisfying to figure out.
Tons of different weapons you can dual wield from melee to nukes or just down right spamming 2 mini-guns.
Only gripe I have is once you setup a base and keep expanding, holding off bigger and bigger waves of alien enemies I don't see it getting much more interesting. Don't know if I could put hundreds of hours into this game, might be a wish list game and wait for deal. :D

I will update this review in the future. I'm still new to the game with little hours, I have noticed lots that could be improved upon.
1. UI: I'm on PC and it's not that great, it could use many improvements. There's no scroll wheel mouse sense option, meaning you have to constantly scroll or grab the scroll bar which needs to be wider because sometimes item popups will block it, or if you move left/right you will have to re-grab the bar to scroll again.

2. Map/Mini-Map: The main map of the world could be much larger, but is smaller due to the fact that most of the shortcut keys shown top and bottom hog the space. It seems like there are different tiers of icons shown on the map, some which don't show up until you really zoom in on the map, leading to constant zooming in and out of the map, they need more options to customize the map, different colors and allow all icons to be shown no matter the zoom level.
The mini-map has no 'rotate' option which is a personal gripe, but I have always played with it on in every other game, like Path of Exile and Warframe etc, things like this should be standard in 2021.

3. Market Place: I haven't really bought/sold much of anything on it, but it seems like a nightmare to use if you're going to using it daily to trade on. Trying to navigate to what you want sell or buy is a quest on it's own, checking prices and even trying to set a price for an item you have to scroll up and down for each number! There's no using the numpad on PC for this.

I'm not a huge MMO player, but I am enjoying the combat and upgrade system it's not to overwhelming compared to other games I've played. This game I would consider "Pay for Convenience" like the two games mentioned above. You can buy more bag/account space with daily currency you get for free.
This will be a grindy game don't be fooled by reviews with less than 100hrs. This is the type of game you're going to put 2khrs into. Check out my hrs for POE and Warframe. Things are not handed to you except for boosters I seem to have a LOT of them I haven't used :D

I don't know much about the company or what they intend for the games future, but if they set a standard and keep updating and improving the game players will stay. IMO there's lots of basic things they could update for better user experience and QOL.
But don't take my word for it, it's f2p, install and check it out!

BTW their website doesn't have forums, so I'm not sure how the company takes feedback from community which is important. Most guide videos are before current updates and the wiki is lackluster.

Power fantasy game at it's best. Warframe is worth a try with it's smooth and additive movement system, hundreds of weapons and 40+ Warframes and customizability. It's definitely in my Top 5 F2P games. Within time you will be blazing through missions and clear entire rooms with abilities and squad setups. You can do certain capture missions in less than 2 minutes or put hours into survival farming.
Yes the game does have its downsides mostly are contributed to new content releases, which can involve bugs or things not working properly, but Digital Extremes are pretty responsive at fixing issues in a timely manner. There have been a few updates that are lack luster and leave you wanting more or that don't add to the overall direction or cohesiveness of the game.
Stepping back and reviewing Warframe as a whole it's a game about the journey. There are plenty of guides online and the community is solid and helpful.
Don't be alarmed at the premium currency in the game "Platinum." You don't have to spend a dime on this game unless you want to support the developers by purchasing bundles. Give it time and you can earn thousands of platinum to buy whatever you want. I really can't list everything in this review, the game has a TON of content. Thanks for reading and have fun Tenno!
