Excellent platformer game with emotional moments and music. A mysterious story. Definitely hoping for a sequel.

Difficulty WARNING: There are some puzzly jumps that might frustrate you. I got frustrated, but kept trying and got them after falling to my death lots of times. If you are newer to platform games like this, you might need to watch a guide, and even then you might not be able to pull off some of the jumps. There aren't too many that are so hard, as it is a short game.

It was worth it to me to struggle through the challenge, as the game is fun and creative. It is awesome and I hope to see more in a sequel.

Hard to learn game mechanics, bad AI, and hostile, unhelpful players. Even if this game was fun, these things would ruin it easily. But, the game is not fun. Every mission is tedious. Once you figure out what to do(which takes a long time and many retries) you're either trying to be stealthy or kill everyone.

For stealth you are waiting for a drill or something to finish while you stand around and deal with a guard or two. The other way is shooting every guard or cop you see, maybe taking a few hostages once you figure out how. Besides that just standing around waiting for a drill again or carrying loot to a van while shooting everyone who tries to stop you.

The people who seem to enjoy this game the most are those who grind and do missions hundreds of times to level up and unlock things. I've never understood how that is fun. I would not bother writing a review, except for the extra things that are just bad. Can't do much about unhelpful teammates, but the interface is confusing and hard to learn. Most of it seems extra and unnecessary. There is no system in place to teach you much about how to play the game, level up, unlock guns, and just do everything you can with your character. And yet, when you play a mission, other players who have learned these things seem amazed when you don't know what you are doing and keep yelling at you using words and terms only they seem to understand.

There are only 5 or so games, films, or TV shows that have moved me as much as this game, Life Is Strange has. It is a hard feeling to deal with. The characters feel very real. You come to know many of them, and love them almost like real friends. Then the game is over, and those characters are gone. This causes a hurt inside you. Very much like losing dear friends, because there is no continuation for these characters.

This game is VERY emotional and deals with some very dark, and unfortunately very real things in our world. If you feel for other people, and nature, and the things only humans can cause, whether they are good or bad, this game might make you feel very sad at times, because it puts these things right in your face.

I cried so many times going through this game. I'm a pretty emotional person, but I think these feelings are totally intentional, and so I think the people who made this game did a damn good job. I wish to explore that world and those characters forever, because they seem that real. But, you can't. Much like the themes in this game about how little control we all have over time and events we can't foresee, this game ends and I have to find a way to move on.

The world in this game is pretty to look at. The graphics aren't amazing, but they are done in an artistic way that reminds me of watercolors or something. The gameplay is very similar to Telltale Games style, in that it is mostly walking around areas interacting with a limited number of objects, and talking to other characters. The real point of the game is the storytelling, and they do SUCH a good job in this one, as I've been over and over here.

I would recommend that if you do play it, take it slow, take long breaks if you need them. I took almost a year break and then several week breaks in between some parts, and it is still messing with me that I can't see anything more from these characters. Only replay the game again. Which, much like replaying a moment in the game with the unique rewinding power, only allows me to see that world again, and not live in it forever.

This review isn't much of a review, I know. But I don't want to reveal much and I just wanted to put my thoughts on this game out there somehow, even just to help me get through it. Thanks for reading if you do, though, and I hope you can enjoy this game that it seems to me a lot of work and love went into. :)

I have been playing Left 4 Dead since the original came out on Xbox 360 in 2008. Once I got a PC that could run Left 4 Dead 2, I discovered that Left 4 Dead really has no end of enjoyment. It is not for everyone of course, but if you like slaying zombies, exploration, teamwork, fun with friends, and some hilarious moments, this game is excellent.

It is now 2016, and still, people are making mods, addons, skins, new game modes, and creating unique servers that change the rules of the game. It is hard to get bored with a game that people keep adding to this much.

You will unfortunately hear about, or experience yourself, bad players on this game. This goes for EVERY game out there on the Internet. If there is a way to ruin other players' fun, there are people who will try to do it. Please don't blame the game for bad players. Left 4 Dead 2 still has hundreds, maybe thousands of players who love to have a good time and try to support eachother in game. I'm one of those. =D If you have a bad experience, try again please. More good-natured players are always welcome.

To me, this is the best game in the world right now. This is because it provides a fun way to meet cool and amazing people, who enjoy this great game where you are rewarded for working TOGETHER, instead of just killing eachother. The game itself provides lots of fun, but what really makes it amazing are the people you play with, and people who continue to make the game better.

I have put off writing a review to this game for so long, because I really can't say enough about it. This review seems like it barely scratches the surface to me. All I can say is try it. TRY IT. Join some games, download some add ons and try those. Remember not to take it too seriously. Get killed, laugh, try to get better, die more, laugh even more. XD Left 4 Dead forever haha.

Playing through this entire game will take you less time than watching a TV show episode, and it's free, so why not try it?

Serena is a point and click game where you never leave a cabin. This is a small one room cabin, so exploring takes about 2 minutes, then the rest is just listening to your character's monologue about the various items in the cabin you click on. After you've heard all there is to hear, check again, as things will change, and evenutally reveal a haunting and disturbing tale. I don't want to spoil anything beyond that. I will add that I am confused by the ending. Everything seemed to be leading toward one conclusion until the finale, which made me wonder what was real and what was just in the character's mind. Of course, maybe an unclear ending was what they had in mind.

For a free game, I did enjoy it a bit, so I can't complain. I can say that I wish there had been a bit more to the unraveling of my character's mind, a bit more horror to find in the cabin hidden away. But, as I said, the game is free. I've played less enjoyable games that I actually spent money on.
