Black Salt Games really set a high bar, can't complain at all! Very persuasive and captivating take of a single player adventure where the protagonist, you "The Angler" have decided to take on the mission of holding your own out at sea, settling in the town of Greater Marrow. You must fend for yourself by scavenging what you can out of the fear inducing open waters, and face multiple challenges, learn the cursed secrets of the islands, complete with interesting character development, satisfying side quests, beautiful exploration, and unique abilities taken to a level not seen in other titles in this genre.

Not to mention - solid mechanics of movement, when for example, being met with the panic induced terrors and hazards in the night, the monsters chasing your vessel - its an engaging and fluid experience. While the story itself may be a quick one, the multiple ending dynamic of this story was short but sweet. Huge replay value as well, you can create many strategies of beating the game in different methods. No spoilers here, don't worry.

The Blackstone Key DLC is totally not PTW... or necessary to enjoy the game, although the Devs really deserve the tip, as the game is fairly priced. I found it useful for the endgame, to catch all the aberrations, simply for the achievement.

I am also happy to see that the Devs really listen to the community, and conduct updates and reported bug fixes surprisingly efficiently and swiftly. The new update is a great addition of content to the game and there is a steady roadmap for 2023 regarding its future development.

Worth the try if you have never played this kind of game before, honestly it reeled me in quick, check it out!

Update - The Pale Reach DLC is awesome. Good on Black Salt games for not giving in to public pressure and ironing out all the kinks before releasing it to the public, gotta respect devs for that in today's greedy world. It is fun and very innovative. The feature that surprised me the most and made me think, wow I never knew I needed that until I saw it, was to be able to freeze your prized catches to last longer outside the water.

Very well designed game modes - this game has 8 unique types of survival missions
They bring totally new ways of thinking and playing FPS shooters, for example the Point Extraction:
The goal is refining minerals via 3 player constructed extraction points, with player constructed pump paths / tunnels,
You can mine materials spawning naturally in the caves to resupply yourself with ammunition.
Respectably sized maps with immersive cave exploration can take you to find player events and secret challenges with solid rewards.
You have 4 classes to choose from, I enjoy the Gunner, Engineer and Driller playstyle.
Lots of progression and heavy replay value. Incentives to consistently improve your abilities and upgrade your weapons.

Ghost Ship really outdid themselves on this gem, I bought the Supporter DLC as well, cosmetics look way too sick! The developers deserve every penny this game is sold for. I actually had a blast with buddies just hopping in to this game, multiplayer is always full of players with the least toxic community I have ever seen in modern PC gaming. This game actually has soul.

Runs great in 1440p

10/10

Amazing the developer brought back an OG childhood Xbox 360 game to PC - nostalgic box ticked,
Props for them bringing it back, regardless of how dated the game is.

I wonder if DirectX11 would ever be supported in the future for campaign. If that is implemented, GOTY for sure

Remastered wonderfully for PC. Best port of any ported game ever, and also best deal on steam ever. Note, store says you can't play without the whole collection but you can purchase one game at a time if you choose to. Bonus: You get a Halo Music Kit for CS:GO too!

Amazing storytelling from a 1960s Japanese perspective of a schoolgirl living in a world of communism and censorship. Actually worth the full price even though i got it on sale 60% off, and the music adds to the overall horror vibe of the game. It is more of a point and click adventure game than a strictly horror title, however. I ended up actually getting the secret (True) ending on first try, now wishing there were more chapters to explore.

Fun unique game in which you can not only have fun with a bunch of friends, but test your skills and climb the ranks to become more skillful and play more seriously as well. Modded community is sparking up as well which is wonderful for giving the developers new ideas. There is never a dry month of updates and new crates are always being rolled out. Definetely has a high skill cap, and it is quite fun to learn to physics and movements in order to use them to your advantage and come up with new strategies for 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, or whatever you fancy playing. Reccomended

This game is a very stress-inducing game for those of you who have zero patience for dumb AI, but I guess that is one of the beauties of this game. The graphics are exquisite for a simulator game and I have never seen more detail and constant output of updates/dlcs in a sim before. Overall a very chilled game to play while you have nothing to do, and the feel of upgrading your trucks and building your company empire is a feeling you don't really get from other games these days. If I had a single complaint, it would be that the weather change does not feel very realistic as there is only day/night and sun/rain. Overall great experience and I am still playing the game to this day from time to time. I would give this game a 9/10
