I've finally found meaning in life again

fun game

One of my all time childhood favorites. Level design is very linear, and the story is pretty short, but gameplay makes up for it, making you want to replay it occasionally.
This game is forever in my heart and I can see myself firing it up here and there in the next few decades

playing this game increases my weed consumption tenfold

There's nothing as epic as driving a police supercar through the rain blasting edge of the earth. Goosebumps and hard nipples guaranteed.
I have no idea why it's called a remaster tho, when there's literally no graphics improvement whatsoever. There's even a bunch of downgrades in details, according to several direct comparisons.

Born too early to explore the universe, but just in time to do it virtually

With the recent 0.4 update, I'd love to revoke my negative review, mainly criticising the lack of cars and tracks, and turn it into a positive one. The game has reached a point of enough content and polished.. ness? that I can confidently recommend it.

Still holding onto one point from my previous review:
Pls add VW Scirocco III, I love that car to pieces ever since it came out in '08

Pretty neat improvement in graphics. Reason for me not recommending this just yet is the absence of text chat.
What the hell is this? A PC game without text chat is unacceptable. Some missions are ONLY possible with proper communication if you're playing with randoms. Nobody's ever gonna use that SMS feature as you suggested, so much more workaround just to send a little "follow me" or whatever.

Entering interiors in full lobbies is still a gamble; it works fine once or twice in a full lobby, but only if you're as lucky as someone winning the lottery 15 times over. Generally, you can forget about entering ANY interior while in a full public session.
This problem was a thing way back in 2016, and nobody bothered to even attempt fixing it.

I used to play this game with my best friend on his dad's computer back in 2005, on good old Windows XP. These were some of my best childhood memories and I'm so glad it's still supported 2 decades later, so that it runs on modern hardware without a single problem.
