I just finished my first play through and I love this game!

I never do game reviews but I'm reading a lot of the negative reviews and feel like I need to write this. If you notice most of the negative reviews have barely any game time played. They seem to jump on the bandwagon and review bomb before actually playing the game and giving it a chance. Most negative reviews bought this game not understanding what kind of game this is either. Also they complain about it not being "open world" I don't think every single Dragon Quest game needs to be open world where you spend hours looking for some chests. I've never watched the anime for Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai and I'm still enjoying this game. I haven't finished the story yet because you unlock something called Temple of Recollection during the second chapter and it was so much fun I put the main story on hold and had fun progressing in the Temple mode. The English voice acting is great and I love the music. I absolutely adore anything with Dragon Quest art style and this game has plenty of familiar monsters from other Dragon Quest games. The combat is interesting since you can swap between your party members during fights freely with each character having different abilities you can use. Overall I love this game so far and it doesn't deserve most of the negative reviews people are giving it.
