Silent Hill f – Review

Silent Hill f finally brings the series back after years of silence, and overall, it’s a worthy entry.

Story.
The story is definitely the strongest part. It’s well written, unsettling, and long enough to keep you hooked without dragging on. The 1960s Japanese setting feels fresh and adds a unique atmosphere compared to past games.

Gameplay
The core gameplay loop works well: exploring eerie locations, solving puzzles, and facing disturbing enemies. The puzzles are especially well made – challenging but fair. Enemy variety and boss fights are solid, with each encounter adding tension instead of just padding the run time.

Combat
Combat sits in the middle ground. It’s serviceable, sometimes even intense, but it never fully reaches the heights of other horror games. It works, but it’s not the standout part of the experience.

Presentation
Visually, the game nails the Silent Hill mood: fog, decay, and surreal horror. However, one strange omission is the lack of gore or visible damage on the main character when she dies. For a game this disturbing in tone, that absence is noticeable.

Difficulty
I recommend playing on Hard. Normal feels a bit too forgiving, and on Hard the game really shines, making puzzles and combat feel tense without being unfair.

Verdict
Silent Hill f delivers a strong story, great puzzles, and atmospheric exploration. Combat is only “mid,” and some presentation choices (like the toned-down gore) hold it back a bit. Still, it’s a very good horror game and a satisfying return for the series.

Score: 8/10

Title: Borderlands 4 Runs Like It’s Still in Beta

I’ve loved the Borderlands series since the original, but this release is a performance nightmare.

My rig:

Intel i9-12900KF

RTX 4070 Ti Super

64 GB DDR4 RAM

This is far beyond the recommended specs, yet I’m getting:
1.Regular frame-rate drops into the teens during big fights
2.Stutters and hitching when entering new areas
3.Long load times and constant texture pop-in
4.Random crashes that wipe progress
Lowering settings—even to medium—barely changes anything. Friends on different hardware report the same problems, so this isn’t a one-off issue.

Borderlands 4 has great gunplay and art direction hiding under all this, but right now it feels like a paid early-access build. Until the developers focus on serious optimization and stability fixes, it’s hard to recommend this game at any price.

Every once in a while, a game comes along that reminds you why you fell in love with gaming in the first place. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is that game.

From the very first moment, it’s clear this isn’t just another RPG — it’s a living painting. Every environment looks hand-crafted, drenched in color and atmosphere. The art direction is jaw-dropping, but it’s the combat that seals the deal. Mixing turn-based strategy with real-time parries and dodges shouldn’t work this well, yet here it feels natural, thrilling, and deeply rewarding. You’re constantly balancing precision, timing, and creativity — it’s like playing an RPG that respects your skill.

The story is where Clair Obscur truly shines. It’s tragic, poetic, and full of heart — exploring themes of purpose, loss, and humanity without ever feeling preachy. Every companion feels alive, with voice acting that nails the emotion perfectly. By the end, I wasn’t just finishing a game — I was saying goodbye to a world that will stick with me for years.

Performance is smooth, the soundtrack is unreal (seriously, headphones are a must), and the boss fights? Pure art — hard enough to test you, but fair enough to make you feel like a god when you win.

If there’s one flaw, it’s that you’ll wish it lasted longer. But maybe that’s part of its magic — it knows exactly when to bow out before overstaying its welcome.

Final Verdict:
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is not only one of the best RPGs I’ve played in years — it’s a work of art. A rare gem that blends gameplay, visuals, and emotion into something unforgettable.

⭐ 10/10 – My Game of the Year. A masterpiece painted in light and sorrow.
