as soon as you login, you are hit with 3 screens back to back telling you to buy stuff despite owning it. if u buy the PHANTOM edition, the phantom DLC will be missing and also tell you to buy it. (there are workarounds) ABSOLUTELY EMBARASSING

OFFICIAL servers have rubber band and lag but PORTAL servers are fine?? seems to be an issue some ppl have INC myself, maybe unlucky.

Weapon Customization IMO is restrictive due to its attachment costing points to equip where you have a max of 100. SNIPERS cannot stay ADS'ed after shooting, you are required to unlock a "DLC BOLT" and once you do, it costs 30 points, just about a third of your total. if you do not equip this, you will be forced to stop ADSing just to rack the bolt and ADS again.

Maps are a MESS apart from maybe Cairo and another few. Portal exp is gone. MENUs are a mess however you can get used to it over time. HIT REG is absolutely GARBAGE, you can be 2m away from someone, shoot and still miss your whole mag despite aiming directly on them, doesnt happen often but still

REDSEC battleroyale is ok but still not even worth your time in the long run.

Imagine paying 110 dollars for this game and required to spend 35 bux on a battle pass, kiss my ASS.

havnt came across any cheaters throughout almost 50 hours PC gameplay in normal mode, cant speak for extraction tarkov mode since i dont play that mode

this is an absolute stupid trashgame, weapon progression is like cod4, nothing like the previous payday. im just surprised this game hasnt added LGTBQ crap with how crap this game is. absolutly astonishing how crap this game is. really gave it a solid go when updates started happening more often but now, the updates are pretty much gone. the bar of expectation i had for this game was extremely low

'free update' they reckon, as if updates we are meant to be paying for updates. this game hasnt even been finished yet and they wanna say 'free update' as if they are saints giving free updates. what an absolute disgrace. this games absolutely trash and garbage i HIGHLY doubt they will fix the game.

dont make the mistake of supporting these devs like i have. stay away even if you enjoy ♥♥♥♥ games

♥♥♥♥ product, cmon KOEI SCAMO, whats the with damn rock textures?
the panda is the hero of this "palace" is it not? why is that not even textured, UV'ed or modeled properly? I dont understand the "mountains" behind the panda, is this a jungle? why is there a ceiling and walls? what are the devs thinking? this is garbage
not to mention 3 dollars which is very low and thats good but
id rather leave my house and buy a cheeseburger, even during this heavy covid pandemic.
how did this even get passed development and testing?

Early game sucks big ♥♥♥♥, KOEI SCAMO has removed the mini questing that was in DW8E where you would go out onto a battle, meet different officers and forge bonds, gain rewards etc. so if you plan on playing as anything under Ruler, Strategist and Warlord Officer ranks, have fun sitting in base literally doing nothing or going on 'strolls' farming off mobs that drop 2GOLD?

Character Customization is like Nioh but the options in terms of cosmetic is lackluster however, it is much deeper since you can customize each individual undergarment, inner armour and outer armour. More cosmetics coming in season pass.. in DW8E you could choose different Musuo 1 & 2 but in this game you cant, it is fixed to the character you choose to shadow so if you pick MaChao, your Musuo 1 & 2 will be locked to his. Most weapons seem to be present and LUCKILY not sold as DLC examples: zhou tai has his quickdraw katana, zhanghe has his claws, though wangyi doesnt have her trishula.

Battles are much more interesting, you cant just grapple hook over and kill the boss anymore like in DW9, you have to use the battering ram or siege tower to get over or through a castle now. Large scale AND small scale 'Secret Plans' are have replaced Stratagems. You also cannot change weapons like in DW8 during combat... :)

despite being a Positive Review, dont buy this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scam, please wait for updates but who knows when that will come coz these dumb dogs at KOEI SCAMO are probably too busy counting their money, game should be worth 20 dollars. The game is fun if you can get behind these downsides, combat is great, battles are great, customization is cool but with disappointing flaws. I love Dynasty Warriors so hopefully these miserable scamming cucks update this dam game 4/10

This game saved my life.

I am 45.

My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and adopted our son together. They are now both 4 years old.

When we were going through our separation, I found myself lost and miserable. I was self destructive. I got so mad one day from everything spiraling out of my control that I punched some concrete in a moment of overwhelming emotion. That caused me to break my 5th metacarpal in my right hand... my working hand... my games hand.. the hand that I held and carried my children to bed with.. The hand I desperately needed to make sure I could continue to provide.

After learning of the severity of my self-inflicted damage, I was borderline suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man with no history of depression or anxiety. I have never had fits of rage, or been one to break down and cry, but I was in a low spot that just really buried me from being able to see the light on the other side.

Having nothing better to do, I searched for a game I could play, ONE HANDED while I recovered. I somehow stumbled upon this game and read some of the reviews. I decided that it had to be worth a shot... I must admit, I didn't beat the game, or play nearly as long as some of you. In fact, I may have only played this game a day or two.. With that being said, after doing so, I had a new found joy and hope for life. I was able to put behind me the pain and suffering that had been cast over me. I was able to experience other peoples joy and happiness. I was able to see the fruits of my "labor". I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minutes to this music long enough to realize that I was going to be okay.

After coming to that realization, I turned the game off, and I went back to work. It hurt my hand like hell but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so damn sorry for myself, and I became the father I needed to be in that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving as.

Today, I am close friend with my kids mother. We don't fight, or argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents, and friends.

I now have 3 kids. My third child is, wait for it, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my own separation, and we just stumbled in to each others life unexpectedly. We have been in a relationship for a year now, and are very happy together.

Moral of the story, you never know what life holds in store for you, and if I would have given up when all the odds were stacked against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

There are many things in this game that I have yet to experience such as the BONDING system and player homes as I have not yet bought a house. I've also only spent 25 hours total playing this game and am still in chapter 4 so do take this review with a pinch of salt.

Changing to open world has been a big change compared to the old dynasty warriors but not in a bad way as it brings a number of this with it to the table. The open world however feels a little lackluster as it is pretty much a whole open world full of nothing. The new things it brings with it would be fishing, player homes, animal hunting for materials and the ability of riding into a battle without loading screens compared to the old dynasty warriors.

The revamped combat mechanics extraordinary compared to the old dynasty warriors as things get less repetitive allowing the player to flow each attacks together, combo-ing different elements such as fire/ wind/ ice etc together instead of just having one; depending on the players gear load-outs.

The whole new sieges on castles is a great new addition to the game however all seems redundant when players can just grapple hook over and unlock the door inside of the castle for your forces to storm in.

The AI is quite dumbfounded as I have actually watched 3 enemy officers trying to fight one of my ally officers. All they did was stand there walking around slightly while aim locked at each other while blocking. It is quite a disappointment as basically all the AI is like this. The only time AI is 'acceptable' is when you fight the actual hard bosses such as Lu Bu or high level bandits you may stumble across in the open world. These bosses you will actually be forced to kite them, consume your HP supplements or even to refill your MUSUO bar. If they made most of the AI function a little more like this, things would've been just that much more enjoyable.

The camera at first feels like like crap but isn't game breaking, the main issue I had with it was when you are sprinting on a horse, the camera forces itself to just a straight horizontal view and any movement you try on the camera it would just force itself back which makes it feel kind of 'spazzy.' Overtime, not long you would get use to it anyways.

I see alot of people complain about the Chinese voices and write negative reviews for this very reason. I am still able to modify my files and have done so at the very start, and till this day I still have the Chinese voices going.

Graphics were quite the disappointment even though I knew this was coming, theres lots of flickering happening in the background but once again, its something you will get use to, I haven't been noticing it much so it doesn't bother me anymore. The rain weather effects are completely missing in the PC version if you play on MAX settings, Ive read in the forums playing on lower settings will fix this bug.
