Early Access Review
I've put enough hours into this game in such a short amount time that I think I can write a good review.

Valheim is a great game with great potential to be an amazing one. With such a small team, they accomplished so much and I could not be more amazed at how well this game is optimized for it just being out for a few weeks. Download time was a blink of an eye, loading doesn't take forever, multiplayer servers don't lag very much so playing with friends is honestly a breeze, although, please be aware that the more you build, the more laggy (fps) it'll be. When I'm not in my village, my fps can go up to the 150's compared to the 50 I get in the village.

Valheim is similar in certain ways to other games like Minecraft, Rust, even Escape from Tarkov (except without the shooting) so you get the point. Of course there's an end to the game but the building aspect just like in Minecraft is beyond endless. You can grind/farm like an RPG, or build a village or entire kingdom like it's a simulation.

Don't expect much out of the game just yet, it's only been out for so long but need I not remind you; it's a very well put together game for just a small team of devs. Progression in the game to newer maps and stronger enemies and access to better crafts and equipment is at a good pace, I can't wait for what they have to add in the next upcoming huge patches.

This is a game I can enjoy while I'm working. There is no dire need for undivided attention unless of course you're fighting a boss or are in a dungeon but it's easy for me to just tab in and out whenever I need to without getting an anxiety attack over if I'm going to die and lose my gear.

I do wish parts of the building side of the game was a little better. Things snap into place when you don't want it to and other things don't exactly fit where you want it to fit. Having slight OCD really messes with my brain when I'm building so it's easily frustrating but not enough to rage.

I recommend this game. I think this game will continue to grow and with upcoming small and huge patches there will be so much more you can do and I hope that they implicate something similar to difficulty level or anything of some sort. The game is pretty easy to get through. It's almost like it's being handed to you. The grind for crafting equipment and farming materials is really the only part that's time consuming and "hard"
