I changed my mind again

This game is good for what it is, likely the best BF to come out in ages. It has some issues, but they seem to be fixing stuff semi quickly. Another game that could have used 6 months longer in the oven, but I guess this is the standard now.

Hope they chill on the monetization a bit, skins are expensive. Free ones are plentiful but feel lacking while being grounded.

Game is hella fun and seems grindy, but they have already begun addressing some of the grind by making those things easier.

I am hopeful again and will be making this my main game.

If not the best, it's definitely one of the best arcade racers ever crafted.

This price point is obscene and if I wasn't filthy rich I would be annoyed by this.

I've been playing since Global release. I can't recommend this game any more, although I had in the past.

Here's what I think about this game now:
- initially, the game is fun with fast rounds and steady collection building.
- as you get closer to completing your collection it steadily becomes more difficult to acquire new cards until it is impossible to get the latest without some incredibly heavy spending.
- monetization in the game is incredibly expensive and they regularly charge $20 or more for a chance at a random variant (not a new card but just a variation of a card that you already own) and a very small handful of currency.
- I see the monetization issue becoming worse and more expensive with each major patch (about once a month)
- the game while sometimes fun is steadily getting worse with these collection and monetization issues getting more expense as the playerbase thins out more.
- playerbase attrition is also a concern since they do not have major card releases, instead they drip feed new cards and make them terribly expensive to get through different means, so it's tough to really care about buying new cards all the time unless you are wealthy and think spending hundreds of dollars on a few cards is ok.
- the meta is small and distinct and gets somewhat boring quickly
- converting to F2P is fine but I'm losing interest as a casual player and if there were a quick playing decent alternative, I would immediately jump ship.
- drip feeding new cards and wanting the playerbase to not have complete collections was a stupid idea, I hope that developers in the future see the problems they created in this game and do not copy this ideal.
- I would like to spend in this game (I don't mind spending), but I refrain from doing it now since I strongly believe that this game is going to tank and why would I want to invest in something that I do not agree with. I don't even buy the battle pass any more, although previously I thought it a decent value. Not any longer though.

This is a good game for what it is, but at this rate the developer might never get this thing finished.

You'll get dusty and cobwebbed waiting for the next content update. This one of the slowest developers ever to exist, probably only 1 dude working on it.

If you buy it, don't expect much of anything to happen for the next 5 years.

A really fun card game, after this most recent island update well worth playing. I hope the developer will continue to add on more cards and more reasons to play, it is done very well for a simple card game.

Can't wait to replay in VR if it becomes possible.
