This is sorta a Love/Hate review. I have played Legend Of Heroes since Trails in the Sky. I played the first 2 Cold Steel and loved them both. I was really looking forward to the third installment. Here's what I have to say:

A newer looking continuation of the story is GREAT. I am fully into the world at this point and I want to see it through. HOWEVER, I do not like the decisions they made in regards to the OG Class 7 characters. They aren't even a big focus in the story. They sorta just tag along every now and then and while you have NUMEROUS options for bonding events, including OG characters, you can only romance THREE OF THEM. The rest are the new cast.

I understand wanting to introduce new characters, and I fully support that. But if you played the first 2 games and romanced and bonded and even personally got attached to any character besides the 3 you can romance in this game, then it literally throws every relationship bonding experience from the previous games out the window.

In the end it is a Legend Of Heroes game. I really like it. I will play it more than once probably. Just really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb I can't romance Fie

It's Halo and you're gay.

TBH I see people trying to criticize this game because 'GUN IS TOO BIG ON SCREEN' Did none of these little kids ever play Halo? Be glad you can even change the FOV to a wider view. Besides if you are a true Halo fan the gun on screen is not going to bother you lmao.

A straight followup of Cold Steel 1, Cold Steel 2 does it again. A flawless continuation the player is immediately thrown into the game. Slight spoiler: You meet up with all the old characters and friends from thee 1st game within the first chapter of this one.

An amazing story that continues where the first left off, I cannot recommend this more! Fie is Number 1 obviously.

Oh also the fact that any cleared game data from the first game carries over into the second game so beyond just story it is worth playing the first game to get the full experience of whoever you choose to bond with ;D

This is one of the newer games in the Legend Of Heroes series that I remember from my childhood. I played The first 3 games growing up and finally got my hands on Cold Steel 1 & 2.

Not surprised at all that it is just as great as I expected it to be. The newer gameplay is awesome and just everything you can do. From forging bonds with whoever you wish, which allows romance in the end game, to just roaming the towns you visit. And obviously fighting enemies and etc. for the story :P

I always preferred this series over Final Fantasy so it's easy for me to recommend it. It's good enough I plan on doing a New Game+ playthrough

It is a fun game, from back in the day. I played it mainly because my ex bf played with me. Now since he became paranoid and avoids me like the plague the game is boring af. -w-

It is a solid and fun Soul Calibur, however it lacks in options for creation mode and the major flaw of making characters WHO HAVE BEEN IN THE GAME PREVIOUSLY DLC paid characters.... -.-

Still fun to play though

Absolute money grub. Tira has been in the game for multiple games just like Amy. If you want DLC characters, introduce new oens who have not been in a game before. Disgusting greed....

Incredibly addicting and very fun to play. Saving to get the music pack. It is very much worth the $30!
