Why does it cost more to upgrade my existing copy of Fallout 4 to the Anniversary Edition than it would to just purchase the missing content by itself?

IDK what's going on over at CA but this is not how you run a game company. At this point Warhammer 3 is not worth the purchase. CA asking too much for far too little. Greed has gotten the best of their leadership.

2024 Review Update: I believe the developers have largely addressed my problems with the game. 2 notable items that stand out to me are the inclusion of Blueprints and Power Batteries. I have been playing Satisfactory on my Youtube channel if you're interested in a more in-depth look.

Old Review to follow:
I really want to love this game but it keeps thwarting me. Maybe it's not designed for single players but it feel like advancement is an insufferable slog. Just unlocking the map takes 10s of hours. There is no blueprint system so you're stuck building everything block by block. Resources a spread very far apart but the game doesn't give you any quick ways of getting around the map until 10s of hours in. Even with hypertubes it may take a good half hour to get across the map. Eventually everything seems to just break down and stop working. I've played a lot of these sort of games and this is the only one that seems to just totally break down, regardless of how well you've planned everything out.

Maybe it would be more fun with friends, but that can be said of just about anything. As it stands I'd like a more streamline building system and better options to get across the map. Tone down some of the grind. Find a way to tell the player why their systems have broken down and what might be done to fix it.

Vermentide 2 is the glorious love child of Left 4 Dead and a Warhammer RPG. Though a little rough around the edges, it's a ton of fun. I've laid down $60 for games with less content and replayability. At a launch price of $30 it's a must buy.

Review Edit: TakeTwo came to their senses and mods are back on the menu. Just so long as they don't effect multiplayer.

Civ is back and better then ever. A worthy addition to the series. It takes the gameplay in interesting new directions. One of the first CIv games to not feel incomplete on release.

It's a fun game held back by rotten DLC practices. It's worth it if you can find it for 25%+ off.
