One week in and I love the game. Short of the bugs and random crashes, which the Devs have already advised they're working on. Give it time and this game will be loads better than CS.

This "love letter to fans" is more like a "Dear John" letter. DICE/EA completely and absolutely missed the mark after setting the bar high and getting the Battlefield loyalists' hopes up they had finally listened. There's nothing about this game that made Battlefield, Battlefield. I've played every Battlefield since Battlefield 1942. Don't waste your $110 like I did. The worst part is... they don't even care. They've made their quick dollar for their shareholders and they'll dump this mess in under a year for something else.

This IS NOT Battlefield. You have none of the following:

- Squad leaders
- Changing squads
- Changing teams
- A scoreboard
- Stats
- VOIP
- Classes (Every person on the map has a LAW... tanks and aerial vehicles are useless)
- Melee is a joke (and rarely works)
- Balanced weapons
- Quality maps
- Quality Weapons
- Quality Graphics

In closing, DICE/EA... you failed us. Please release the Battlefield Trademark to a studio who will love it like the original DICE did when they released Battlefield 2. #dicepls

As a firefighter IRL I can say this game is pretty well done. There are a few idiosycrasies I'd like to see changed, but this game can only go up from here! Well done and thank you for finally making a good firefighter sim game.

Suggestions:

- Add the ability to vent the roof, which removes heat and smoke and allows better visibility.
- It shouldn't take three (3) 1 3/4" hoselines to fight your average residential house fire. Two at most should take care of most everything.
- American fire apparatus should have a "Federal Q" siren. Make it happen. It's a thing.
- Improve the AI to ask for tasks once their tasks are complete.
- It's not a "unit" it's an "engine" a "rescue" or a "truck." Change that.
- You should add in an Battalion Chief to be incident command and be giving orders over the radio instead of the dispatcher.

Like I said, a lot of minor things, but so far the game is great! My buddies from the station and I will likely be playing on Twitch this weekend together to see how well we do in-game versus in real life.

Strong communication from the devs to the community and transparency are really helping this game along. It's got some work to be done, but they are working very hard on it. I'd absolutely recommend this game!

One of my absolute favorite games in my Steam library! So much depth, excellent hit detection, game design. From the ground up it's a fantastic game and they just keep improving it!

The game is fun for what it is. As a firefighter, I love seeing games the make managing a fire station/department something you're able to do. I was disappointed in how repetitive it was with the same missions over and over and not being able to control more of the fire station. The game has so much potential, it just needs more put into it with patching and expansions.
