Depends what your budget is. The AMD 7970 is deffo the cheapest option. I have have been reading that the GTX TITANS get like 44fps which is kinda low for such an expensive beast of a card. I am sure nVidia will bring out new drivers to boost the performance significantly. Of course a TITAN would probably be the last graphics card you buy for at least 3 or 4 years tho. If you have the money then buy the best, and make sure you have a ddecent PSU to power it, dont skimp out on cheap PSU's.

You should wait for a few benchmarks to come out, particually to check the AMD performance. Bear in mind that new drivers and game patches will increase performance also.

Well I have a GTX 680 and my PC cannot really handle max settings. Rome is not crossfire/sli ready so dont bother with a dual GPU card.

This only leaves you with a few options... Something higher than mine, so GTX 770 or 780 or a GTX TITAN. Or perhaps the game runs better on AMD cards which would only leave the AMD version of mine; the 7970.

Either way, expect to pay a lot of money for max settings, your best bet is a TITAN. Make sure you have a good CPU to match or your wasting your money.
