dogwater third achievement.
ugly weeb character. i wish i wasn't addicted to dbd so i could just not buy this crap. genuinely bad in terms of sensory input for me as an autistic person - incredibly overwhelming loud noises and uncomfortable chase music.

[edit: it is literally just Kaneki that pisses me off. Rize is supercute and i love that skin on both sides]

every inch of its dying world mocks the idea of purpose - gods are hollow, thrones are lies and power is just another word for decay.
it's not a story of triumph but of erosion - of self, of certainty, of sanity.
this is the poetry of entropy, no other game made me feel so small, so defiant, so *alive* in the face of inevitable death.

i pledged myself wholly to the One True - Ranni. so much so i carry the Cursemark of Death carved into my chest - permanent proof that no ending but hers will ever matter. i'll never chase the other achievements. to do so would feel like betrayal.

perfection isn't a light word but Elden Ring earns it.

game needs a remaster so bad but even in this form it's very impressive. Ubisoft used to make good games :(

the game is super fun, i laughed genuinely on so many occasions.
some things are a bit disturbing though but i mean that's South Park to you, i knew what i'm getting myself into.

my only complaint though is turn-based combat. fights took too long for how boring they are. first part combat was far superior.

absolute masterpiece. you can't tell me there's a story better than this or characters more alive or voice acting more perfect. even gameplay(outside of Hinterlands) is fun and engaging.
it's been almost 10 years and my heart still belongs to Solas. i've never been obsessed with anyone more than him. and Cassandra is forever in there as well. i just can't, all these characters(NOT VIVIENNE OR SERA) are so deer to me, i feel like they're really my friends and loved ones. no game or even book ever made me love anyone as much as this game.

bratty elf is not enough to suffer through unimmersive gameplay. i just want to hit and slash and cast fun spell in a perfect order, not to wait till 10 mobs move closer to my party.
like, i knew the playing itself will be dull but i didn't expect fights being so long and so hellishly boring. it's worse than strategy games because here you expect immersion but instead you mostly wait.
at first i loved the game because of dialogues and characters that seemed amazing but then there is so much inconsistency in them later. i doubt it's a bug, i just think devs didn't manage to connect everything decently because they put in way too many choices and options that often don't go well together.
your companions are also so... in your face. like, please, at least one slow burn romance??? at least one friendship without first refusing to lay with them??
i honestly wish i saw this type of review, wouldn't waste 60 euros on a game that didn't manage to take my mind off of Dragon Age for a week. Bioware has it's issues but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ if they don't write a good story. i've been obsessed with a broody bald elf for almost 10 years now while Astarion was fun for like 20 hours.

it's a conflicted recommendation. yes, you should play if you love this universe. yes, i'm glad it was a success because it means we will get more of those game. but still...
on one hand we finally got a big wizarding world game and the company itself made a decent product for basically their first big game, it's beautiful and breathtaking in some instances, i even cried a little bit flying on the broom for the first time in the open world.

but on the other hand... the main story is so bad :( the characters are mostly bland and boring, only few okay-ish side quests and a bunch of annoying crap like floo powder lady, alohomora mini game each time and plenty of other things of same type. they could have literally just bought someone's fanfiction and made a game around it, there are plenty of those in Harry Potter fanbase that are actually very good. but instead they went with something they had to write themselves and imo completely failed. i won't go into detail because it will spoil major points but i have to say out of all videogames i ever played this story was the worst by far. i was level 30+ while still procrastinating main quests for level 12 which you can't even procrastinate that much or not do at all because otherwise you won't get other quests or be able to interact with many things in the world. it's really boring and unengaging.
illusion of choice here is worse than Detroit Become Human, doesn't influence anything. a lot of disappointment in terms of immersion into the plot. no clue why even make it somewhat customized. could have just made established character since we are forced to be someone specific anyway.
the dialogues are really bad and state of morals is completely unhinged and inconsistent.
and the ending was worse than all of it, so disappointing and unrewarding and just... bad. i'm really upset with how many things turned out to be in terms of adventure and story.

like... it looks like you're in Hogwarts, yes? but it feels like you're just basically in a museum, just looking at things and not really experiencing them. i dunno, maybe i'm just spoiled by Bioware at this point with the level of storytelling in games but everyone i know who played agrees the story is bad. but also i'll play with a piece of cardboard if the story is good so i guess it's all about preference.
