Over time, I've installed and uninstalled games over and over game. There were 2 that I permanently keep and play. Dungeon Siege 1 & CS:GO (CS:GO replaced CS:S). I bought this game as soon as it came out and I can confidently say that althought it used to be 2, there are now 3 games that I permanently keep and play.

Rocket League is hours and hours of fun with strangers and friends alike! Games last 6 minutes on average and I think the longest was 10 minutes so it's safe to say this is a pick up and play anytime game.

It's incredibly easy to pick up and once you master basic aerial moves, you'll have every chance of taking on Masters & Legends.

Best thing is I've always found opponents. There has never been a time where I've turned on Rocket League and am waiting for more than a minute for a server.

I hope the devs keep up the amazing work and don't change the dlc set up. I happily pay for the dlc as it's very reasonably priced and the devs arent trying to force money out of you. If you dont want a car, dont buy it. It doesnt affect your chances in game (for the record I do own all of the cars ;D)

EDIT: Update! Everything stands as above except finding a match is taking much longer. I also have to say that they changed the crate RNG system. There was a time where it was a lot fairer and you'd get much better drops. It's clearly noticeable since 3-4 crate types ago that the drop rate is far worse.

I guess they've got enough people playing now and want to maximise key purchases which is a great shame.

Out of the last 10 crates I've opened, I got all lowest quality. Used to be a case of 1 in 3 was decent. and maybe the 11 crates before this one, I got one Import quality item and again the rest lowest quality.

So to update this, I would say don't bother purchasing keys. Sell your crates on for 1K each on the launch date and use those keys to purchase the item you want.

The RNG for players like you and myself is far worse than what the streamers and youtubers get.

I've held off on writing this update to the review but I feel since the last 3-4 times I decided it might have just been bad luck, it now seems to be fact.

SO TO SUMMARISE: Buy the game, but just trade the items you want with other players. Don't bother opening crates anymore.
