its a fun lil game for a few hours with friends - the co-op is the best, I just wish there was the ability to only have automatic check outs. I tried that when playing by myself a bit; but then people would literally just stand around in my store for hours until I opened a manual check out. It was very frustrating.

I've only done a single playthrough so far, but from what I've seen, I love it. I love the passion behind the project, the actors and creators clearly had a vision in mind and executed it with excellence. I appreciate how there is messages such as "you are my son even though we don't share blood", and how a lot of the messaging of equal rights still echoes through our society to this day. LGBTQ+ people, people of color, etc all still struggle to this day with achieving equal rights, much less equal pay or being seen as equals in this world. This hits on that, and so much more. There are twists and turns that make you want to play the game again and again to see every story and enjoy every aspect of this "Choose Your Own Adventure" style narrative that should be explored! The biggest takeaway I have is: When a people are oppressed for so long, peace is hard to stand by, you will lose so many people, and most of the time, it will solve nothing and your people will be eradicated, and it will revolutionize people into violence. It echoes with me as what is happening in Gaza with the Palestinian people right this moment. I hope this review will be outdated someday and no one will remember this, but just remember how you feel playing this, and if you ever chose a non-pacifist option, why you did it, and maybe you will empathize better with the people of Gaza.

I would consider this game a bit like trying to solve an escape room, and there is so many POVs, and so many things the characters do to stay in-character, as well as things that create lots of little conflicts that are interesting. There are a few suspicious things that happen that are hard to discern the "correct" answers to, but it's still a super fun game regardless of all of that.

It's unfortunate that every expansion costs a fair amount of money (not a single one is included in the base game), but the AI is great to play against, and I rarely beat the Hard AI, so it was worth it to me to purchase my favorite expansion, Seaside.

I loved the first time I played through this game. The second time I played through the campaign, I was really saddened to learn it was the same serial killers, same calls, over and over again. It's unfortunate because I think they have a real winner here if they had a larger pool of calls and had a completely different serial killer each campaign.

A super fun game to just VIBE in when you have OCD and feel like you absolutely must clean and organize all of the things!

It's a bit repetitive but it's addictive and you keep restarting because you want to make the perfect colony!

I don't like scary games but I love this game! It is the right amount of scary and mystery to make it actually fun and not just a bunch of cheap jump scares like some other "horror" games. It makes me feel like we are the Scooby Doo gang whenever I am playing!
