enshittification at its finest!

so i got ahead and launch the game.. "This software cannot be running at the same time: AutoHotkey". great, i use autohotkey for various accessibility features, that windows lacks. thanks javelin!

then, after closing all my scripts, i launch again. "Secureboot is not enabled". so i fiddle around with my BIOS, which had secureboot turned on, in fact, and get it to work after about 20min of tinkering. nice.

THEN, i launch the game and: "This software cannot be running at the same time: DAEMON Tools". the REWASD driver. amazing! i use rewasd to navigate my PC from the couch and it has become an integral part of my daily life. but battlefield gives me the finger and tells me to go ♥♥♥♥ myself for it.

0/10, didnt even get ingame. but hey, i did waste half an hour on trying! ♥♥♥♥ javelin.

only bots. was fun for 2 rounds but no more ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

After 40 minutes of gameplay and an inevitable refund, I can conclude that this is an exact copy of ARK: Survival Evolved with the following changes:

-remastered map
-remastered models
-horrible, cheap, battle royale game-esque main menu
-horrible performance

rtx 3070, r7 5700x, 32gb 2800mhz, m.2 ssd, 1920x1080:

-low settings: 45-60fps flactuating + stutters while looking worse than ARK: Survival Evolved
-med settings: 25-35fps flactuating + stutters while still looking utterly disgusting due to horrible noise in clouds, foliage, ambient lightning
-high settings: unplayable 20fps with image noise being less severe but still present and very annoying
-extreme settings: finally looking pretty epic!!!!! but running at 6-12fps

These benchmarks do not use DLSS as it, or lowering the resolution as a whole, barely provided any performance uplift and turned the image presented on the screen into a disgusting, garbled, AI mess that was pretty much indecipherable.

I should have been paid to play this repulsively low effort cash grab.
