Tough learning curve with no adequate tutorial or single player mode.

That being said, it's the current online home of blood bowl

bloated with micro transactions.

Just beat the game for the first time maybe ever. It holds up. So good.

I recommend this game, but with a few caveats. The original premise that I bought it for went largely unfulfilled and the game turned out to be just jumping puzzles. I bought it thinking it would be an engaging exploration story, and instead it was just endless jumping puzzles. I played a couple hours, put it down for two months, then finished it off in another two hour session.

While the game had atmosphere and piqued my curiosity, I was bored with the whole thing before it was over and playing just to finish it. What started out as an intriguing puzzle about space, time, and this planet, was quickly eclipsed by boring repetitive game play. It felt like an idea that was stretched out far beyond whatever potential it had, and left thin and wanting.

However the game was beautiful, and there were times when I did marvel at the level design and enjoy what I was playing. By the time I was done though, these positives were outweighed by boredom.

On the whole, if this is on sale it's worth a buy, but don't expect much. It also has zero replay-ability in my mind.

A beautiful game, super fun to play, and not pay-to-win. Absolutely rewarding and a fun way to relax after work.

Magic Duels is another sub standard product from Stainless games. That being said is it much better than the abomination that was Magic 2015. The UI is better, but it's the same recycled cards and art that they've repackaged every year. So far it is an enjoyable enough diversion. The real pinnacle of the series is Magic 2014, if you're looking for the best form of the game that one is it, and what I would recommend. Excellent user interface, optimized for computer players, and interesting deck options.

Rogert Ebert once said that no video games will ever be art.

Braid is the game to prove him wrong.

Stunning graphics, amazing game play, beautiful music all are just icing on the cake.

The soul of this game is a poetic thoughtful story. Everyone should play this game.

Spoilers!!!!

I just finished the game, and it blew me away. I haven't looked around online so I don't know if the game always ends the way it ended for me, or if other choices will have a more positive ending but let me tell you what I loved -

The story and the characters tore me up. I cried multiple times while playing and in the ending [Redacted for the review, don't want to spoil it] and then cried as the game ended. In a beautiful way though, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. The sorrow of the story, a world that (may) be dying. A race that may be going extinct, the struggle to survive, I loved it.

It played like an old choose your own adventure, or maybe one of those old text based exploring games (Zork?) but I was completely gripped. The music and the artwork were beautiful, the combat fun to play, the game was amazing.

I love it and want to show it to all of my friends. Thanks for such a wonderful game. I'm still blown away.

If this game feels familiar it's because it is. It's a reskinned pared down version of every previous years game, with just a few new cards and a new deckbuilding mode that doesn't begin to compensate for the lack of innovation. It's the same old ♥♥♥♥ in a new box.

The user interface continues to be terrible, in trying to design this game to have the widest market appeal they've neutered any sort of sensible design or layout. Magic 2014 had a much friendlier user interface for the PC user, being able to choose with a mouse click through menues instead of scrolling through fuzzy out of focus icons. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible.

Tons of pressure to buy DLC, poor, no negligent design. Wizards must be asleep at the wheel to let this steaming turd sneak out. Or maybe they just don't care. You decide, or don't. You're way better off not buying this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible game.

It's solitaire, with some other gimmicks. Simple enough, perfect for your grandma or a trip on a weak old computer. 10/10 for what it is, though I wouldn't ever play it if I didn't need the cards for my badge.

I picked this game up when I got a coupon for it, so I could get some cards for crafting the badge, and I'm glad I did because it turned out to be so much more than just another crappy cheap game.

This game has two elements, one where you explore a world of doodles and learn the story and history of the place, and a second which is a variation on the classic side scrolling shooter. Both are excellently and imaginatively rendered in a way that is enagaging and addicting, and evocatively beautiful.

Highly recommended, fun and excellently executed.
