Played this game for a couple of days now. I'm already addicted. If you play and like "War Thunder", you're probably gonna like this. I thought the game was filled with bots, but it took my a bit to realize it was my own SQUAD following me around, so the "bots" were essentially me. Still getting the hang of things. There so much to this game. So many tech trees and upgrades and research. I've had some fun.

Point blank....there's just too many Hackers. I had to report 3 in a row today, who OBVIOUSLY were using aim hacks. Watched replays on all, and it was blatant. Not so fun when THREE Hackers in a row down you. There's been obvious wall Hackers too, who know exactly where you are or are going to be, in such a comical way. And then there's people using BOTH Hacks simultaneously who basically you can't beat.

It's so ridiculous. I'm no Stranger to FPSs. I've been playing them for over a decade. This game legit has the most Hackers I've seen out of all the games I've played. To the point where I will safely bet 15-20% on any given Server are using some form of them. And PUBG can do nothing about it. Whatever "Anti Cheat" they put into place just can't detect newer scripts.

It's sad, because PUBG is a great concept, unfortunately losing to bots just isn't fun. Why would anyone invest effort into that? I know this review probably will barely be even read, but I have to say it because I don't want someone wasting time playing a game so full of Cheats like this.

Never playing this game again. Literally dumping entire clips into people 5 feet from you and watching them hit NOTHING got old real quick. I was going to say the game is fun, but it's not. The mechanics of the weapons is nowhere even near accurate. You're only maybe going to get ahead with a Luftwaffe Drilling machine or a browning in your hand. If you have an AUTO, you can seriously empty 70 rounds right at a guy walking toward you and nothing.

I was in the top 50 Win Ratings at one time, and I went down to over 400, just with this anomaly alone.

You can play all the right moves. Sneak up behind someone, and no joke, have your AUTO zoomed in on his head from 10 feet away, and 98% of the magazine will miss. That's not 'fun'. That's garbage.

> Realize that I actually have a tape player in my backpack
> Check out my tapes in bag
> Realize the tapes actually add power to my character
> Jamming out to 80s style music now
> Realize you can run around with the music playing while you explore
> Ready to kick @SS with my new found powers
> Jump into an underground pool not 10 seconds into "kick @ss" mode
> Start drowning
> Realize I haven't saved my game for the last hour of play
> Drowning more, but catching breaths, there's hope
> Was wrong......drowning more...and it's real now.
> Swim deeper into pool out of panic
> Hear my notebook scribble notes (with the pencil sound)
> Die 3 seconds later
> Wonder if my notebook wrote on the "To Do List"....."Breathe"
> Will never know, but that would be funny.

PROS:

Fun game.
Cool scenery.
Cool crafting

CONS:

Don't get map till you actually progress
Too many leaves involved to make a camo armor skin
Have no idea what all this crafting abilities are for since you're not central to one "Home" spot most of the game
Map sucks
Every time I get a 'clue' I have no idea how it helps me or where it leads me
Crafting notes suck, should tell you what you can make and HOW

But this is a fun and scary game overall. The sounds of the Monsters are creepy. Caves are nerve racking. By far one of the more complex solo games I've played. Learning curve is slow but it's part of the puzzle.

Played this game for about 2 days. Thought it would be fun, but nope. For the solo player it's not even worth it. Unless you band up with other people who just want to kill other players no matter what, then this game is for you.

It's pure toxicity all around though. 95% of players give no inch, and they'll kill you for online 'kicks'. As in, steal your base, tell you on mic they'll give you your key, you bend down to pick it up, and their buddy shoots you from the bushes....and they laugh over the mic in some weird sociopathic "heh heh heh", that doesn't even sound normal or healthy. (Creepy true story)

I'm thinking this game attracts people who aren't 'well' or have a fantasy of doing things they'd never do IRL. I'm guessing bullied kids in school or alcoholic/drug addict parents. And RUST is their outlet. Oh well, better online than from a hotel in Vegas with an actual gun.

Way too toxic for my liking. It's fun for about a day, then you realize the types of people that actually are IN the game.

This was probably my first game ever on Steam, after doing the whole Half Life series. Downloading this to see if the servers are still up. Hope they are, I had so many memories of this grinding it out with teams 10 years ago and totally "pwning" noobs.

I think I would have played this more but my computer SUCKS.
