Probably one of the best roguelikes you can play that even a laptop can run. Its a worthy buy even 10 years later.

I've been a big defender of the developer but its become difficult to recommend this game without them addressing if they will change their mind about the weapon range damage system. Basically if your target is out of range the guns bullets will do no damage and in theory there may have been an interesting idea but now it has made the game less fun and the logic behind this system doesn't seem to be addressed. The developers have kept working on adding content which I appreciate and see but the fact that this large vocal group of players and their dissatisfaction is not even acknowledged makes me worried they will never adjust or change the system. I'm still hopeful things can turn around but for now I can't recommend people to buy this EA game until there is a discussion for the range damage system.

I'm usually a bit wary of early access games but after playing the beta I really wanted to support the developers to see this game come to completion. I am a big fan of top-down shooters and with progression mechanics, survival elements, and scavenging + crafting. Also being a fan of STALKER this is like a cute 2d version of it.

That said do realize that its a work in progress and there is still alot of work to be done but I'm rooting for the developers and based on how many hours I've put in (which is closer to 50-60 hours) I see so much potential in this game so I'm in it for the long haul.

great modding community, just hoping that they add multiplayer support soon and add more to the conquest mode! So much potential, cant wait to see how they finish it
