I played this game for years before changing to steam and played every race in the game in both single and multiplayer not to mention the easly over 1000 hours put into this game over the years most before the game was added to steam.

I can and am recomending this to anyone after an awsome warhammer 40k game or just someone who likes the idear of big armies fighting it out over loads of different maps.

this Game still has a good online player base nowhere near what it once was but still good considering the age of the game right my review is below sorry for the length but this game is worth it.

Multiplayer - A great part of the game, maps range in size from 2 players up to 8 players all different sizes and layouts some are over open where as others have choke pionts all over and some such as the Map 'Into the Breach' a 4 player map with a single choke piont really makes for awsome battles. the game is fairelly ballanced but of coursesome racesare better in certain ways and some like necrons are slowto get going but all are strong in thier own way, I have played all the races and can say their are all fun to use and in no way unplayerble. i would recomend before jumping into multiplayer going into the skirmish mode and having a few games on each race get a feel for them and how to build bases fast how to gain control as players who have played alot will have bases up very fast and be at your base before you know it and to finish this bit off you can also custom up your armies paint scheme and badges adds a nice touch to the game.

Campaign - Where to begin, to start with i shall say there is alot of hours worth of gameplay in it there is 3 moons and 4 planets to take space mariens, Tau and Orks start on one then Chaos and Dark eldar on one then Elder and Necrons followed by Imperial Gaurd and Sisters of Battle. The moons are just 1 province so 1 battle and each plannet has a stronghold for each faction and a decent number of provinces to fight for and each of them giving you planetry req which is basicly money for you to add certain units to your comanders Hounor Gaurd (once gained from taking certain provinces) and to reinforce provinces owned by you. it is a really fun game to play through I have played through on every race and some more than once on other difficulties.

Skirmish - I really enjoy this mode difficulties range from easy to insane from the computer, loads of maps and i mean loads, not much to say other than awsome mode lets to mess around try out new races and different play styles and new maps.

Mods - now this is one alot of people will be wanting, And for all of you i can say yes there are lots of mods for the game along with maps and more races and such which can be added, and if you fancy the idear of making maps or your own badges and banners for your armies you can there are modding tools out there which allow you to do that and it is very easy to do to get all this into the game is very simple and most mods will explain how below the badges and banners are abit harder if your new to it, I have a few mods currently installed and a couple of my favourites are the No limit mod which does as it says there is no limit to your army size when you play with this mod it is go big or go home, and the ultimate apocolipse mod which is an amazing mod with so much in units and buildings and a new way of playing as a new eliment to the game.

star wars battlefront 2.

just an alround amazing game, and is absolutely worth buying so many hours worth of fun and a good campaign. owned this on both ps2 and pc and can safely say I put well over 1000 hours into it over the years. I would recomend this everyone.

to be honest don't even think twice before buying just go ahead and buy it as you won't regret it.

I loved the multiplayer and single player just a great balance of both and the campaign is just great fun and has a good story to it, making you want to play more.

if you got this far down stop reading and buy the game time is wasting pick your side and I shall see you on the battlefield either as friend or foe!!!!
