I was really looking forward to playing this.
It would really be nice to have a public notification informing customers that it missed its release date on some platforms. Even a post in the Steam forums or their own support page. That seems like a pretty low bar.
I've been playing since Civ 1. This series means a lot to me. I really shouldn't be surprised that the developer cares so little for its customers. It still breaks my heart every time.
